Petition to held online classes for all the 1st year students.

We the students of gargi college (1st year) , concerned students and supporters of education, demand an immediate and temporary shift from offline classes to online mode due to the scorching heat wave engulfing our classrooms. The current conditions within our learning environment have become an unbearable ordeal, stifling our ability to concentrate, learn, and thrive.

Our classrooms have transformed into claustrophobic ovens, where the unforgiving heat mercilessly torments us, rendering our education an excruciating struggle. The oppressive heat robs us of our focus, energy, and motivation, leaving us physically and mentally drained. It is an impossible task to absorb knowledge or engage in meaningful discussions while suffocating in these unbearable temperatures.

To exacerbate matters, the irregular scheduling of classes forces us to endure agonizingly long periods of wait time between sessions. Under normal circumstances, waiting on campus may have been a feasible option, but with the current heatwave, it is a perilous endeavor. We are subjected to the risk of heatstroke and heat-related health complications, putting our overall well-being in grave danger.

It is our fundamental right to receive an education in an environment that fosters learning, growth, and personal development. However, the current conditions not only impede our academic progress but also compromise our physical and mental health. We refuse to be victims of circumstances beyond our control, where our educational pursuits are thwarted by an unyielding heatwave.

We implore the educational authorities, administrators, and relevant decision-makers to acknowledge the urgency of our plea.
