We, the undersigned members of Creswellpark, are writing to express our deep concern regarding the deteriorating condition of Lyon Street (corner of Lyon Street and Albertina Sisulu Road) within our locality. This vital thoroughfare has long been a lifeline for residents, commuters, and businesses, but its current state poses a significant risk to public safety, infrastructure integrity, and overall community well-being.

The current state of disrepair on Lyon Street is causing severe inconvenience, with numerous potholes, uneven surfaces, and sections of crumbling asphalt. This has led to an alarming increase in vehicular damage, traffic congestion, and, most importantly, the heightened risk of accidents. Pedestrians and cyclists are also facing hazards due to the lack of safe walkways and designated paths.

Our community, being an integral part of Region C, relies heavily on efficient and safe transportation networks for economic growth, accessibility, and the general quality of life. The current condition of the road not only hampers these aspects but also reflects poorly on the overall image of our community.

In light of these challenges, we respectfully request the urgent intervention of the JRA - Johannesburg Roads Agency to initiate comprehensive repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure the road's safety and functionality. Specifically, we advocate for the following:
