SAY NO to the relocation of Ft. Fisher and the Texas Ranger Museum

Recently the Waco Tribune Herald published a story in reference to the City of Waco stating the possibility of relocating Ft. Fisher and the Texas Ranger Museum. This would be a great injustice to the residents and historians of the City of Waco in that this site was chosen because of its close proximity to the original site of Ft. Fisher.

I feel that their reason is primarily the $$$ signs they see if a large hotel chain bought the property and built a new hotel there. Then tax revenue it would bring in would be considerably more that what the museum brings in.

It's about time the citizens of Waco have a chance to voice their opinion about all the historical landmarks that are either torn down or converted into upscale apartment instead of restored for Waco residents and tourists to visit.
