City snow plows have been creating so much work and trouble carelessly every winter . That behaviour is heartless and cruel to the tax payers. How many times as a woman I have to remove two layers of icy heavy snow banks just to get in my own driveway ? How many people got heart attacks from removing them daily ? Why no one in the city even cares ?

Snowbank is a result of city snow plow operation. These snowbank blocked most of residents's driveway/path to city road, increased the cost for families who choose to buy snow removal services, and increased the risk for families who cannot afford the fees of smow removal services(especially for seniors, it's dangerous in winter). I think a public service of snow bank removal can bring all of us a fairly, safety and cost-effective environment. Thanks.

I think the snow bank should be removed by the city even though I have hired a contractor to shovel the snow. It often blocks the driveway and we couldn’t drive out to pick up our children.

This gives huge convenience to the residents. It is unethical and irresponsible to clean the road but dump the snow in residents drive way and block their exit again. The constant snow banks created by city plow trucks not only blocking all the house owners and their families but also creating more dangers for patients and seniors when they try to clear them, blocking every exits to the road for the sake of a clean sideway. This hurts much more taxpayers than benefits them, even some are pedestrians too. That is a stupid habit of handling, and no one including the city consulors would stay silent for years

I have seen the trucks with these devices last winter occasionally that can do the job nicely. City needs to take the initiative to expand using it for the whole city on every snow plow trip.

nobody should push snow to anybody's driveway to make a snowbank. if i push show to my neighbour's driveway, i would be charged. but how come city contractor can do it? it is wrong.

these snow removal contractors only do the correct thing in two places: around city halls and around military bases.

they know how to do it but they don't want to do it.
