Widening of Darlington Oval - DJFC NEEDS YOUR HELP

The sporting clubs in Darlington need your help to officially lobby our desire to widen the Darlington Oval. This is extremely important to all three clubs but especially for Junior Football and Junior Cricket who could potentially showcase youth and senior games on the oval for the first time in many, many years. Currently the Darlington Cricket Club fields a youth side that plays their HOME games at Boya Oval. Darlington Junior Football Club would be in the same predicament. 

Signing this petition enables the collective group to present the community support to The Shire of Mundaring and allows them to make an informed decision. 

The current plan means that there is a need to remove the last remaining pine tree on the trail side of the oval and a few grass trees along the edge of the hill which im sure could be re-homed. The positives that this provides for the community and especially our young children, I believe far outweigh the loss of these trees but the final decision will sit with the shire. 

This means a lot to the clubs and it will mean a lot for the community so if you could assist and sign this document showing your support, we would greatly appreciate it.
