I signed because I care and speak to the families on a weekly basis and I see how much time and money they invest in making the best out of their homes.

I think it's discussing that Orbit should do this to the residents of Hilltop Drive, some of which have lived there for a long time. I expect Orbit will still have money to buy and build more properties,so why don't they use that money to do up the properties they already have.

Hope they see sense and can see that turfing the residents out who put blood sweat & tears in to these houses is going to be a huge fail !

My best friend and husband put pure blood sweat and tears in to there home ,

they worked day and night to make it livable for their children along with relatives and friends , and as the months years pass they have turned it in to a beautiful home putting there mark on the property , so to orbit they may see is as a block of houses in disrepair but to my friends they see it as there family home , there life , their future but most of all a place that they love ......and a place they call HOME..............

thet  are in absolute heartache over this and so would you be orbit if it was your home ..

I think people's rights are far more important than some faceless companies profitably.

So if it's a listed building they surely won't be able to pull it down, and will be forced to maintain it ?

The landlord has a duty of care during the roughtimes not only the smooth, taking the money and running is not how it is done.

I think the owner/landlord should be forced to maintain the building to the required standard to enable the current residents to remain there, even if it means they have to be temporarily rehoused while the work is carried out. The residents need legal representation! Sounds like Orbit just want to capitalise on their slice of what is potentially prime real estate.

Social housing in the rother area is non existent, finding 16 homes for Hilltop drive residents will be vertaully impossible, This will also have a huge effect on all the other families trying to get socail housing in the area, So please please support us all as it really does effect everyone on the housing list.

We so desperately need to keep our social housing, also need houses in places such as Rye as the residents did so much for this Country during the war and now we are all but forgotten.

Friends living there have worked so hard on making beautiful homes, it is wrong for them to be taken away just like that. Families need security!

If a tenant were to miss a payment, they can be evicted. In this case, it looks like if a landlord doesn't want to adhere to the terms of their own agreement, they think they can get away, without scrutiny. These properties would not require such repair, if Orbit had upheld their end of the contracts in the first place.

Completely criminal! I hope the right thing is done, for everyone who has made Hilltop Drive their home.
