Dear Sir

We the Indians used to think that Russia is always a good friend of India. A biggest shame and disgusting news we have read that Russia is going to ban Holy Scripture which is not only spiritual but which is for the peace and humanity in personal, social and what more global life. The shocking news is the Russian translation of "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" written by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It's the biggest shame for the country like Russia, that they are not grateful towards the Hindus Saints who are spreading the peace and bliss through the message of Shrimadbhagwadgeeta to your country. But worst thing is Shrimadbhagwadgeeta is said as 'EXTRIMIST'. Further news I have read is, Russia also wants the Hindu religious text banned in Russia and declared as a literature spreading "social discord", its distribution on Russian soil rendered illegal.

By such decision which is full of hatred towards the greatest knowledge on the earth, Russia is closing their doors for the social and spiritual growth. Hindu scriptures are reflecting the eternal knowledge which are beneficial for mankind not for one particular religion. These scriptures makes a human completely divine spreading the divinity all over the world. To ban Shrimadbhagwadgeeta, is actually to ban the doors of peace and eternal supreme knowledge.

I request you to, convey our Strong Protest against this ban, to government of Russia.

Thanks

Mohini
