No foreigner has rights to tell Latvia what to do. Latvian Waffen SS legion was not involved in no criminal activity as it was pure battlefront formation. Absolute majority of them fought for Latvian freedom against Soviet occupants. Soviets deported and killed thousands of people and the young Latvian men had rights to defend their people. Yes, sad that they had to fight in Nazi lines it is tragedy. But, the veterans has rights to commemorate their fallen friends and colleges in civilized way. Just like the Soviet veterans in 9th May, except these people like to remember their "victory" by drinking and eating voblas. No foreign citizen has no right to enforce something on Latvian people.We do not gather petitions to not celebrate 9TH May or to force Putin to resign. This is another Putin imperialistic project. But, your regime time is running out you are bound to fail.
