Much tighter controls around gambling with in the UK

I'm a gambling addict and  have been for 20 years , im what you call a escapism gambler , I can go months with out Gambling but when I do it's devastating , I loose everything and it's something I can't control, it's only now that I'm getting therapy I can understand this more, there are huge links between mental health(personally disdorders) and gambling, there is tight advertising rules around cigarettes and Alcahol but not gambling, with the rise of mental health awareness I urge everyone to understand that gambling Addiction is as  serious than any serious addiction you can think of and the gambling industry and the UK government have normalised gambling for far to long, why? Is it because they are afraid to loose money?, how can it be wright you can gamble 24 /7 for example.

The children, the vulnerable and The mentally ill must be protected.

The following needs to be done:

1 , Ban on all forms of advertising in relation to bookmakers and casinos weather online or in our towns and cities across the Uk.

2, A maximum daily limit that must be imposed by all bookmakers and casinos across the UK and online. £50 below the age of 25 , £100 on 25 and above (this also includes machines)

3, All ##VIRTUAL## horse racing and dog racing with in the bookmakers shops and websites must be completely banned.

4, Bookmakes at one time were open for a few hours during the day now they are open from 8am till 10pm at night, casinos are 24/7, this must change..

There's a lot more i can think of that need to be addressed but these 4 are the main ones.

Please let's fight this evil that is destroying our families, communities , children and what could be our children's children.

Regards
