PETITION TO MODIFY THE GUIDELINES FOR RECEIVING DELIVERIES

SUBJECT : PETITION TO MODIFY THE GUIDELINES FOR RECEIVING DELIVERIES

WHEREAS, Manila Rivercity Residences (MRR) Condominium Association, Inc, thru its Property Manager, Ms. Rhea Pullan, has issued Circular No. 2020-83 explicitly stating the guidelines for receiving deliveries;

WHEREAS, said Circular No, 2020-83 was only issued on July 20, 2020 and become effective on July 21, 2020 at 5AM;

WHEREAS, the MRR unit owners fully understand the current health situation of the country vis-à-vis with the whole world and the need to prevent or suppress the spread of Covid19;

WHEREAS, the MRR unit owners have nevertheless expressed their sentiments and strong oppositions as the new guidelines would greatly affect the usual buying and selling business procedure of unit owners;

WHEREAS, notwithstanding the foregoing, the MRR unit owners would like to keep or maintain a peaceful environment, harmonious relationship and unity between and among the MRR Condominium Association, Inc. and the MRR unit owners;

NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned unit owners respectfully manifest and petition the MRR Condominium Association, Inc. to modify if not totally revoke said guidelines in accordance with the following:

         1. Being unit owners of MRR, they are automatically part of the condominium   association. As such, all safety and security related matters are also their concerns. Therefore, any guideline/s imposing safety and security measures have to be coordinated with them as a matter of due process and fair play;

         2.  The MRR Condominium Association, Inc. has the duty to respect the physical movements of MRR unit owners without, however, compromising the health safety of all the people passing by in the vicinity of MRR Condominium;

         3. The MRR Condominium Association, Inc., insofar as the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws are concerned, must also abide by the existing rules before it may implement any guidelines affecting the rights and interests of the MRR unit owners;

         4.  In the event that unit owners opt to engaged in selling goods and conduct business within MRR, said sellers must register to the Administration Office and comply with safety and security requirements.  Thereafter, Administration Office should issue to registered seller a Seller ID Pass in order to gain access within MRR premises for door-to-door delivery of goods.

        5. At any rate, the MRR unit owners are more than willing to cooperate with the association, provided, that relevant condominium matters are properly addressed and coordinated with the unit owners and, provided, further, that policies or rules as well as the penalty to be imposed are just and reasonable for all the concerned parties.In view of all the foregoing, we hereunder affixed our signatures to manifest and petition for the modification of the guidelines, Circular No. 2020-83.
