I do not give my approval to have my face used with facial recognition.

Shane Nunn (Sydney, 2025-04-08)

I'm signing this petition because we've already had too many of our rights removed! The Government has no right to my privacy!

Dianne Barrett (Perth, 2025-04-08)

#412

I believe in freedom, I do not believe our government do.

David McElwaine (Adelaide, 2025-04-08)

It is not just for us now (to protect us from governmental and corporate overreach) but for the future generations who will be severely limited in their activities.

margareta toohey (Castle Hill, 2025-04-08)

There is too much surveillance already. It's NOT for public safety. It is for control and monitoring. Already far too much government and police intervention in everyone's lives. It's all about control.

Gregory Cooper (Glenwood, 2025-04-09)

#419

We live in a supposedly Democratic society, these draconian measures are not the Australian way. Digital technology is not reliable,it's not safe and it isn't warranted. It's got nothing to do with convenience and everything to do with control. STOP IT

Lorraine Gibson (Tennant creek, 2025-04-09)

#422

The human race do not want to be surveilled. It's an invasion of privacy.

Lewis Hiley (Sydney, 2025-04-09)

#423

I believe this is a complete invasion of privacy. While some may think this is completely innocent and assist law enforcement etc, in the wrong hands this could be used for other purposes. Given the current technology and that yet to be developed I am concerned of the potential for abuse of this information. Our current record of not being able to protect information held by both government agencies and NGO's is extremely alarming. Additionally where is the evidence to support the argument this form of surveillance will decrease crime, if this is the purpose of this kind of surveillance.

Vicki Heath (Weston. NSW, 2025-04-09)

#425

I care about my privacy.

Ryan Marriner (NORTHCOTE, 2025-04-10)

#426

Parliament is invalid and has no rights to allow the trespass on my person by such things as surveillance by any device. See the surveilance devices act for this.

Nicholas Eric (Tenterfield, 2025-04-10)

I’m signing because I feel this is a big mistake. No one can predict what using AI in this manner could mean in the future.
I do not give consent to be face scanned or recorded

Michaela Young (Melbourne, 2025-04-10)

#428

I don’t want facial recognition introduced into qld or Australia

Sharon Hudson (Maleny, 2025-04-11)

I am signing this because we are human beings containing the God particle. We are not possessions to be tracked by its owner. Facial recognition is a disgusting idea made by left thinking minds. I.e. no heart.

Angela Toohey (Brisbane, 2025-04-11)

Adil Salihovic (Dandenong, 2025-04-12)

It is a breach of personal sovereignty and against human rights

Erika Harvey (Tumut, 2025-04-15)

#471

This is a breech of security, we should have more trust in our people

Tahnee McAteer-Murray (Cairns, 2025-04-16)

#473

A.I. surveillance must be completely banned from use in Australia. Totalitarian and authoritarian government is unconstitutional -the antithesis of democracy and freedom.

Deborah Hendry (Adelaide, 2025-04-17)

#480

I'm signing because I don't consent to governments thinking they own me and I do not participate with AI

Bernadette Taylor (Charters Towers, 2025-04-19)

#481

I am totally opposed to Australia's descent into tyranny; it started with the Covid years and now is moving into the technological sphere with digital ID and facial recognition cameras - which have been developed in such a way as to incorrectly identify women and people of colour. AI is in its infancy and should not be relied upon.

Christina Emblem (Adelaide, 2025-04-19)

I beleve in the world till 1990

FREEDOM IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY, NATION AND WORLD!

Price Guru (Sydney, 2025-04-24)

The use of technology has the potential for great benefit. I this case it has the potential for great harm. I don't want that for myself or future generations.

Dave Robinson (Uralla, 2025-04-26)

#507

I am signing because I am concerned that measures being introduced by our governments, largely without consultation or permission from the people they are supposed to serve, are eroding our freedoms. AI surveillance, digital ID, cash being phased out.. we need to step off this slippery slope.

Sharyn Woods (Eastern Heights, 2025-04-26)

#511

Governments around the world have no right to use Big Brother tactics to constantly track citizens movements and activities, all of which can be twisted by A.I. to create nefarious narratives of innocent activities.

Brady Castleberry (Las Vegas, 2025-04-27)

#520

There is No benefit for Australian citizens to be surveillance in this manner. A threat to our safety is living in a society where the Government cannot trust its own citizens. Tracking our every movement causes a sense of concern, rather than safety. Cameras that are everywhere will catch any suspicious acticvity. And the people, look out for one another, their neighbours, passers-by; it is remarked on during EVERY significant weather event or moment of terror, we have each others backs. This is wrong and there is ample literature to suggest so. We are talking about the the fundamental psych of our people in the long term. That's significant!

Gary Bowler (Beechmont, 2025-04-28)

#523

Any facial recognition surveillance is against what I believe are my democratic rights, and is not the job of our Government to track, trace, record or monitor.

Heather Hamilton (Advancetown, 2025-04-29)

#524

Because it's way too controlling.

Jacqueline Ewing (Nowra, 2025-04-29)

#534

I am a human

Martin Goldsmith (Brisbane, 2025-05-01)

#535

Increased surveillance is not about protecting us but is yet another example of the erosion of our civil liberties.

Peggy Howells (Melb, 2025-05-01)

#541

I am completely against facial recognition. We are becoming more and more controlled every second. People have their info away during a Sensis before ww2 and a year later, they were killed or sent to the camps!!! This is a dangerous step away from democracy.

Paola Triado (Melbourne, 2025-05-02)

#547

Freedom will be lost.

Charles Mizzi (Melbourne, 2025-05-03)

#550

Digital ID and surveillance is the beginning of our end.

Trina Higgins (Newrybar, 2025-05-04)

I am signing this petition because I agree with the points raised in the letter from then Say No Australia Group to The Prime Minister.

Lorraine Bambridge (Cowaramup, 2025-05-05)

#563

I oppose AI surveillance in Australia or anywhere else for that matter. I believe in freedom and sovereign rights. By having AI surveillance everywhere people will be treated like slaves more so than they already are.
