I'm signing for my son! They want this...let's help them get it!

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#14

We were promised on multiple occasions that graduation would be on the football field and its always super crowded in the gym. It would work way better on the football field. There is no good reason for it to continue to be in the gym.

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#15

Graduation is a right of passage that these students have worked hard for and this class has had so much taken away from their final year. What an honor it would be to have graduation at the new Conger Field. This choice should belong to the students.

(Purcell, Ok, 2020-05-20)

#16

I want graduation on the field

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#25

My granddaughter is senior graduating - Alyssa Bumpass.

(Ruston, 2020-05-20)

#29

I’m signing this because the 2020 class deserves a graduation on the field

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#30

I am a class of 2020 graduate and attended Purcell Public Schools K - 7th grade. As someone who holds Purcell’s Class of 2020 so dear to my heart, it is important to me that they receive the adequate graduation they deserve. Once a dragon, always a dragon!

(Slocomb, 2020-05-20)

#34

because as an alumni I believe all seniors should get a graduation and the graduation on the gym is horrible

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#35

I’m a father of a senior and have witnessed countless hours of hard work and dedication my son and many others has invested in this school.
With all the challenges they have faced the past few months has been tough but now being told they cannot hold graduation at the field when they were promised is absurd.
As a tax payer, this 3.6 million dollar facility we’re paying for needs to be used for more than playing football. If the excuse of a field protector was a decision factor of not having graduation on it, why wasn’t it already part of the budget? That’s how many other schools all over generate more money by holding other events on it.

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#36

If we all practice Social Distancing, it will be fine. The Class of 2020 needs this ceremony for a completion of their high school successes!

(purcell, 2020-05-20)

#37

They deserve this!!!

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#38

The Senior Graduation should happen as promised on Conger Field!

(Purcell, 2020-05-20)

#39

I want to see my grandson, Nicholas Albright walk across the stage and receive his diploma! He has worked really hard all thru school and is an outstanding athlete he and ALL THE 2020 SENIORS deserve this experience!

(Maysville, 2020-05-20)

#40

Announcements have already been mailed and I feel conger field is a safer place than the gymnasium

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#41

There is no reason to strip these kids who have worked so hard of this once in a lifetime experience.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#43

I support the students at Purcell High School.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#47

Graduation has been changed to many times this year.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#50

This senior class are first class with conger field so would be special celebration.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#52

It is safer to be outdoors and the kids at least deserve this with all they have lost this year.

(Pauls Valley, 2020-05-21)

#53

They deserve to have a graduation!

(Ardmore, 2020-05-21)

#56

To support the graduation at the Purcell football field for the class of 2020. The administration has an opportunity to model INTEGRITY to these graduates and not just use the term in a flowery graduation speech. Integrity is what will move our community, state and nation to continue to relish the freedoms that many of our great men and women have given their lives to preserve. Purcell Administration/School Board-Integrity.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#57

This would be a preferred venue because it will be open space and social distancing would be easier. I also think this is hands down a gr8 area for graduations. I was sonsad after they built the new HS that this wasn't a option anymore. The gym can be back up option.

(NOBLE, 2020-05-21)

#58

These kids should have it the way They want it after all they've been through.
Shame on whoever wants to keep them from having the graduation they want.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#59

With this Covid virus going on I would not feel safe or comfortable in an enclosed building with that many people.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#60

Our seniors deserve a special graduation and I support their wishes. Let’s make this happen. Thank you for your service and commitment to Purcell!

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#61

Hey Gavin :)

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#62

I’m a senior and wish to have something more intimate than an online ceremony.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#64

We want to have it on the football field.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#65

The seniors and their families deserve what they were promised

(Denton, 2020-05-21)

#69

I'm signing this because I don't see any good reason these graduates shouldn't have a graduation that they want. Listen to your seniors.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#70

It’s my graduation and it would be a lot better at Conger Field. It’s not as crowded and the gym and it’s safer

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#71

My kid and all the other seniors of the 2020 class deserve graduate safely and to be able to invite more family and friends to their ceremony.
They have already lost enough. Don't go back on your promise.

(purcell, 2020-05-21)

#72

It has been the plan and it was approved. Graduation invitations have been printed and mailed.

(Pauls Valley, 2020-05-21)

#73

I don’t want to be in the gym.
I want open air and space.

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#78

I think that all the seniors should have their graduation at conger field for one last time!

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#81

I'm signing for my Son!

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#82

The reason not to is absurd.

(Oklahoma City, 2020-05-21)

#84

I’m alum and support the student

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#86

I have a senior and I think it’s unfair. You can play a game on the field but you can’t put a chair on it. That’s totally ridiculous.

(Burns Flat, 2020-05-21)

#88

This is ridiculous, there should be chairs allowed on the stupid field - like cleets and playing doesn't damage it? come on! use your brain!

(Norman, 2020-05-21)

#93

The seniors deserve it

(Purcell, 2020-05-21)

#94

Signing because they deserve to have their planned graduation! Silly that there is even talk of changing it, given the fact that this will happen one way or the other.

(Lexington, 2020-05-21)

#96

Because it’s the right thing to do

(Oklahoma City, 2020-05-21)

(Norman, 2020-05-21)

#103

My sister is graduating

(Atoka, 2020-05-21)

#105

(Pauls Valley, 2020-05-22)

#106

If it’s a tradition or assured then it should happen no matter what even if there a small restrictions

(Velma, 2020-05-22)

#112

These kids need a graduation!!!!
The football field will survive.
These kids have given up enough their senior year... let them use the football field for the graduation.

(Purcell, 2020-05-22)

#114

It's the right thing to do

(Norman, 2020-05-22)

#115

I believe that the Dragon tradition of holding graduation on Conger Field should be allowed to happen for these seniors. This has been a difficult year for them with everything going on and this is the least we could do. They deserve this!

(Purcell, 2020-05-22)

#121

It’s time to get back to normal!

(Lexington, 2020-05-22)

#126

These kids deserve a celebration for their hard work.

(Purcell, 2020-05-23)

#131

Graduates deserve it

(Oklahoma City, 2020-05-23)

#132

I love a graduate!

(Blanchard, 2020-05-23)

#136

I want my classmates to get the graduation that was promised to them, it is bad enough that our diplomas are being withheld, do not punish us further

(Purcell, 2020-05-24)

#138

These kids deserve the best Graduation ceremonies they can get, and there’s not one good excuse or any reason why they shouldn’t be able to have it on Conger Field!!!!!!!

(Lexington Oklahoma, 2020-05-25)

#139

These students deserve better than what the district is trying to give them.

(Purcell, 2020-05-25)
