I believe in freedom of choice when it comes our health.

Lisa Ray-Latchford (Tweed, 2022-01-14)

#2

What Tweed council is doing is not right on behalf of the community.

Natasha Spicer (Tweed, 2022-01-14)

#4

This was a wrong decision on so many levels. We need our first responders! I no i wouldnt care if i was dying if this person had a vaccine since it does nothing anyways!

Krista Vankleef (Tweed, 2022-01-14)

#10

Safty of our community

Wayne Spicer (Tweed, 2022-01-14)

#15

I don't believe that the vaccine should be forced on anyone.

Ashely Simmons (Tweed, 2022-01-14)

#17

This is an unethical and under educated decision.

Ange Curtis (Madoc, 2022-01-15)

#19

I don't believe this is right.

Tamara Burns (Tweed, 2022-01-15)

#20

im signing because the last thing on my mind when myself or a family member needs emergancy assistance is going to be a vaxx status!

jodie mumby (Twees, 2022-01-15)

#21

This is unethical and undereducated

Rob Curtis (Madoc , 2022-01-15)

#26

I’m signing this petition because I strongly disagree with the bylaw 2021-73, voted in by Jo Anne Albert, Jamie DeMarsh, and Jim Flieler. This mandate has caused the loss of our Fire Fighters - the brave people who come to our aid in emergencies. Tweed is a rural community, and one that should be holding on to its community services ESPECIALLY during a pandemic. Not to mention, current statics are showing the vaccination mandate does absolutely nothing in fighting the omicron variant.

Megan Prevost (Belleville, 2022-01-15)

#27

We need our emergency personnel.

Mike Reive (Rodney , 2022-01-15)

#29

These men and women are essential to the volunteer fire service and no one in their right mind is going to care about their personal medical choices when their house is burning down or when there is an emergency. Furthermore the vaccine does not stop transmission of the virus therefore making this decision even more unfounded and foolish. This is discrimination and it is shameful. Give them their positions back effectively immediately.

Jennifer Stephens (Frankford, 2022-01-15)

#30

It saddens me to the core that I have to sign a petition like this.
We need as many superhero’s as possible willing to run into burning buildings. Vaccinated or not. The vaccine will only determine how sick you will get it will NOT make you immune to it.

Kimberly MacDonald (Plainfield, 2022-01-15)

#35

We need and appreciate our fire fighters!!!

Liz Van Dijk (Thomasburg Ont, 2022-01-15)

#37

This is insane!!! I don’t care if you are vaccinated or not especially when it comes to an emergency!! These are VOLUNTEERS!!! Risking their lives to protect someone else’s! May I hope you never need someone’s help and are unable to receive it in time!

Sincerely a fully vaccinated household that lives beside Chisholm a lumber!!!

Vicki Stirk (Roslin, 2022-01-15)

#41

I'm signing this because it is not right to mandate people for an experimental flu shot, it is not a vaccine. A vaccine works

Laura Abbott (Tweed, Ontario , 2022-01-15)

#44

It’s an absolute disgrace to dismiss fire fighters because they aren’t vaccinated. If I was in need of assistance from the fire department I would certainly not care if they were vaccinated or not. Having such a small team of firefighters, why chose to make the department smaller. Reconsider your decision, clearly it was poorly made as a petition has been started.

Krystal Gordon (Madoc, 2022-01-15)

#48

I am signing because I was born and raised in tweed and this is unacceptable! This is segregation and discrimination at its finest! Fires do not discriminate and NO ONE is going to care whatsoever if someone is vaccinated or not when needing to be rescued from a fire!

Mallory Goebel (Belleville, 2022-01-16)

#49

An unvaxxed firefighter doesn't pose any harm to a vaxxed firefighter. Vaccination doesn't make a work place any safer.

Juan Yeap (Ukiah, 2022-01-16)

#51

I'm originally from Tweed and can't believe they did this.

Alanna Cassibault (Belleville, 2022-01-16)

#53

Absolutely wrong what this council is doing to its firefighters and staff

Kirk Boldrick (Tweed, 2022-01-16)

#56

Because as a Tweed resident this will effect my family.

Brenda Prevost (Tweed, 2022-01-16)

#58

I strongly disagree with the idea of a individuals human right being taken away.. especially over a unproven “vaccine” that hasn’t done what was originally said would do.

Dan Whiteman (Madoc, 2022-01-16)

#60

I’m signing because I’m a tax payer in tweed municipality and we need these firefighters and I think these mandates and Covid and Covid rules are all a bunch of bullsjit to begin with and mayor Albert needs to resign

Dustin Miller (Tweed, 2022-01-16)

#62

home owner in Marlbank

vicki kearley (marlbank, 2022-01-17)

#65

I’m signing this because this is bullshit! Everyone should have a right to chose what goes into their bodies without having consequence!

Ellen Donaldson (Stirling, 2022-01-18)

#70

This is bull.

Caitlin Jakiwchuk (Trenton, 2022-01-18)

#72

This mandate is bullshit!

Jennifer Lennox (Trenton, 2022-01-18)

#75

When there is a risk there should be a choice. My body my choice

Samantha Wilcox (Frankford, 2022-01-18)

#76

I am signing as this is against our charter of rights and freedom. Ask them to get tested and stop letting a virus dictate us. Stop acting like world war 2 Germany.

Rick Toner (Stirling , 2022-01-18)

#79

This could be very disastrous if an accident or fire was to occue

Kim Flint (Stirling , 2022-01-18)

#80

An unvacinated first responder is better than no one responding at all. Especially since both vaccinated and unvaccinated are both getting and transmitting the new covid variant. Vaccines are not protection. Time to update this policy and keep residents safe from real threats.

Jessica Greer (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#83

The policy is ridiculous. I don't care if they are vaccinated if I'm burning to death in a fire...

Angela Whiteman (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#86

I'm signing because this mandatory vaccine is BULLSHIT! you are taking away everything canada stands for. I cannot believe what this once beautiful country has turned into!

Kelsey Westbrook (Belleville , 2022-01-18)

#89

These mandates are not right

Susanne Elvin (Gilmour, 2022-01-18)

#90

Support the volunteers, their body, their choice

Lisa Hetherington (Oshawa, 2022-01-18)

#94

What the town council has done is wrong.

Colin Slimmon (Amherstview , 2022-01-18)

#100

I’m signing cause my family is affected by this. This is morally wrong what they are doing to all these dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced and good hearted people.

Davine Palmateer (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#101

I’m standing behind my community and all the amazing things the fire department does

Sarah Moore (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#103

Mandates are an infringement on someone’s personal right to bodily autonomy. Vaccination statuses are nobody’s business but your own.

Kyle Austin (Stirling , 2022-01-18)

#104

I’m signing because I believe the safety of the community and the other firefighters are at risk.

Kelly Young (Belleville , 2022-01-18)

#106

I'm signing because it's wrong. Why does it matter if the person who is saving you had vaccines. Last thing in going to be worried about is catching covid when my life or my house is at stake.

Brad Curtis (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#107

I'm signing because I fear fire, far more than I fear a mild cold.
Bring back our firefighters!

Deanna Vino (Foxboro, 2022-01-18)

#109

i don’t care if a fire fighter has covid if they are helping me in an accident or fire. I’m just glad they are there.

Alison Ranger (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#111

I’m signing because the mandatory shot is bullshit along with all the all the brain washed people that believe in this shit

Devin Brobbel (Marmora, 2022-01-18)

#112

These are rights that should be made by each individual and with their or ow. Rights violated. This is wrong. We are being controlled

Cindy Pedzikowski (Oshawa, 2022-01-18)

#115

I do not agree with the Vaxx mandate. Everyone should have a choice! Especially those who worked endlessly through a pandemic for 2 years and did it without questions. Now they’re being thrown to the curb over a vaxx that doesn’t protect other people anyway!

Candace Butler (Trenton, 2022-01-18)

#118

It was my free choice to have vaccinations but I disagree with the Municipality’s actions in squandering tens of thousands of taxpayers dollars in training and experience - suffice to say if I had a wreck going down the #37 and one of these suspended firefighters gave me CPR - I would be grateful, after all I’m vaccinated so have nothing to fear right?

Dominic Perodeau (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#123

We need our Fire Fighters to keep our community safe & they don't deserve to be treated this way after all their sacrifice s & service on our behalf!!!

Darlene Boldrick (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#130

This Vaccine should not be forced and there should not be consequences like losing one’s job because you so choose not to be vaccinated. Honestly if my house were on fire or these unvaccinated men and women were saving my life or my family I wouldn’t care if they were vaccinated.

Green Charlene (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#132

I'm signing this because it is utterly ridiculous to base their positions on their vaccine status. As if the vaccine is doing any good or matters in this situation. They can still do there job and do what they need to do to keep others safe during a pandemic. Do the vaccinated still jot need to take the same precautions to not spread covid?

April Insley (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#139

These shots are ridiculous. I thought we had freedom of choice.

Linda York Beatty (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#141

I’m signing this because I don’t think the council is doing what is right

Hayley Keller (Madoc, 2022-01-18)

#142

its discrimination, illegal and tyranny.

Angie Nadon (Stirling, 2022-01-18)

#144

Everyone has rights and shouldn’t be forced to get a jab they don’t know much about

Kelly Brobbel (Marmora , 2022-01-18)

#145

I believe in the right to choose what medical procedures we have done. I do not support discrimination, bullying or manipulation. I believe in the freedom of choice

Dawn Tracey (Belleville , 2022-01-18)

#149

I’m signing because I am one of these volunteer fire fighters who is ready, willing and able to put my life at risk to help save and protect others within our community. I am also hoping to grow my knowledge about fire fighting and follow in my fathers footsteps who has been an active fire fighter and now captain for tweed the past 15 years.

Meghan Palmateer (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#155

I feel the mandates serve no purpose considering one can still spread or catch Covid regardless of status. There is no discernable difference in viral load between the 2. Segregation of person is the decline of society, leading back to a time in history where lunch counters could not be shared, airplanes and trains (currently happening) can not be shared, people becoming marginalized and cast out. For what? Really, ask yourself this!
Almost everyone I know who took the shot still got Covid or will get Covid. Open your minds to expand beyond main stream media and the big pharma companies please! See beyond the rhetoric and ever changing narrative. IF this gene therapy worked so well we would not be here 2 years later. Freedom should never hinge on an experimental shot. Freedom over what we put into our bodies, especially yet untested and proven dangerous (even deadly) is the final frontier.

Debora Veerman (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#156

I believe every one in Canada should have a choice .No mandates

Lynda Mattucci (Norwood , 2022-01-18)

#158

The Nuremberg code states this vaccine mandate is against our human rights. These men should not be fired from their jobs for making a choice of their own body and health.

Holly Jean Westwell (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#162

Im signing this petition because firing anyone because they choose not to get this shot is ASININE and RIDICULOUS!! Youre going to allow a structure or house with a family to burn down because someone hasnt got a vaccine??? Give your head a shake. This shot doesnt work to begin with and secondly, ID RATHER HAVE A FIREFIGHTER PUTTING THE FIRE OUT THEN NO ONE SHOWING UP because theyve been let go due to asinine mandates! Wake up already!

Jenn Irwin (Belleville , 2022-01-18)

#167

No mandates!!!

Gisela Asmar (Deseronto, 2022-01-18)

#168

Bad decision to can someone because of freedom of choice. If they aren't sick let them work!

Paula Thibodeau (Flinton, 2022-01-18)

#174

I grew up in tweed but not living there now I know how important these guys and gals are and are needed

Alicia Cowan (Arnprior , 2022-01-18)

#175

This is totally unacceptable

Tracey Brooks (Belleville , 2022-01-18)

#177

What has been done to these firefighters is an absolute disgrace and clearly we need new council members in this community.

Amanda Dice (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#178

It does matter who is coming to save me when my house is on fire. Freedom of choice is essential. The right to earn an income is essential

Shannon Mcwhinney (Belleville, 2022-01-18)

#180

So not fair. Vax or not if my home was on fire or I needed their help who the hell care I would gladly take their help

Annette Keller (Madoc, 2022-01-18)

#184

I stand for the right to choose what goes into ones person.

Jeff Boldrick (Tweed, 2022-01-18)

#186

This is so wrong !!!

Rebecca Elmy (Marlbank , 2022-01-18)

#189

This is a complete disgrace! I remember the good old days when a virus was cured with rest & chicken soup instead of communism

Bonnie Robinson (Corbyville, 2022-01-19)

#191

I'm signing because this is rediculous!! It's not like people are lining up to volunteer to fight fires. We should be acceptimg the help vaccinated or not!! It's their choice!!

Amanda Kelley (Madoc, 2022-01-19)

#193

I’m signing because the Covid-19 vaccines have been proven to ONLY minimize symptoms of individual that has been inoculated. They do NOT stop transmission. All mandates regarding this should be dropped.

Natalie Chisholm (Tweed, 2022-01-19)

#195

Enough is enough! Stop forcing a vaccine onto everyone!!!!

Lisa Mills (Tweed, 2022-01-19)

#199

This is absurd! There was a house fire across the road from me last week. We had to have back up already from Tyendinaga. We can’t afford to cut back on our firefighters. Do our tax dollars not deserve to be spent on our safety as a community? How do 2 people out of 3 voting for this have the right to represent such a huge decision for the whole community. This is absolutely absurd!
