Oslo Fjord Spa has been one of the best places to meet new people as a foreigner who just moved to Norway. It is a perfect place to hang out with a caring community. Hope we can keep this place for the future and for the awesome community.

I think it is important for the health of our society to have places like Oslo Fjord Spa. It is an extremely valuable asset to the city. We should fight to preserve places like these. <3

Aker brygge needs this! There’s enough saunas at sukkerbiten, aker brygge needs at least one. This one! I’ve met so many friendly tourists and locals here, don’t take away this awesome meetup and selfcare spot

Emilia Hällström (Oslo, 2022-04-29)

This is a magical place that made me feel at home in a new city. It stimulates health consciousness and community and is one of the most special places in all of Oslo. It would be a massive loss for the community if it wasn’t able to remain.

Justin Bellucci (Oslo, 2022-04-30)

Oslo Fjord Spa is an amazing place always filled with people from all different backgrounds - it’s rejuvenating for the body but also the soul! An important piece of the harbour that enhances our culture and deserves to live on at Aker Brygge!

Merete Dalen Nielsen (Oslo, 2022-05-06)

Its the best sauna in Oslo. So much more than a sauna; a community filled with fantastic people who wanna share their love for the heat, the cold and a healthy, loving, lifestyle.

#57

I believe these guys are doing so much for the community of Oslo!!!

Albina Rasmussen (Jar, 2022-05-20)

The saunas add a healthy, social activity in an otherwise mostly consummerist location. Waterfronts should be for the people to gather.

Elizabeth Cox (Christchurch , 2022-05-20)

The spa’s were amazing for us to meet people on our trip around Norway. I really wish we had these in the U.K., it really is someone Norway should promote and enjoy.

Mad Goats bidrar til en positiv og sunn folkekultur i sentrum av Oslo. Det er helsefremmende og et unikt tilbud som også minner oss på viktigheten av å holde fjorden vår ren, via Fjord cleanup organisasjonen.

Ivar Sverrisson (Oslo, 2022-05-21)

#79

We need this in oslo!!

Kate Havnevil (Oslo, 2022-05-21)

I think the sauna was an amazing idea and a great tourist attraction to Oslow! We even want to tey to introduce the idea to London! The chap that runs it and the Fjord clean up deserves backing from the government

This wonderful group of energetically incredible volunteers needs the warm up time. Rules and more rules can be useful but not in This case. The logic remains simple… the volunteers need to warm up while they do world inspiring environmental work! What is your solution? So far it seems your only solution is to take away the only joy the clean up crew gets from their sacrifice. What are you thinking? Cold water means warm blooded volunteers need warm up at breaks and therefore they NEED the sauna. Do you know how much this clean up would cost if it were not done voluntarily? I am very disappointed in your dismissal of gratitude and team spirit. What are YOU doing as a landlord on the coast of Norway to help the environment? Please let us all know.

Sauna for life!

Jonas Carlstedt (Oslo, 2022-05-22)

#115

I love the way they run the saunas, it’s a community that thrives in Akker Brygge and does so much good for the health and well being of all that come and visit.

No matter what happens this community spirit can’t be replaced and it’s a sad day that commercial enterprise uses selfish activity to try to bully another to get something for nothing and greenwash it’s business.

They should be ashamed of how they operate.

My Sundays will never be the same now, and as a result I will boycott all the businesses in Akker Brygge, and encourage everyone else to also do the same. They only understand money.

Kevin Hancoz (Drammen, 2022-05-22)

I am signing because we believe this place is a great addition to Oslo’s attraction. We come here quite often as a family, to relax or to stretch after trainings. Or sometime with friends just to socialise. We met there a lot of people and it was always a great time of sharing.

Gautier Rousseau (Oslo, 2022-05-23)

#117

I’m signing because Oslo needs all the floating saunas we can

Steffen Mussche-Johansen (Oslo, 2022-05-23)

#118

Ingrid Myrvold (Oslo, 2022-05-23)

I’m a loyal visitor and a lover of Oslo Fjord Spa and I want them to stay in the city of Oslo!

The value Oslo Fjordspa with their saunas has provided me, my friends and a bunch of people (all the social media posts can testify to that!) are huge! It has become a place for me to unwind, meet great people and do something that provides my body and mind with a little reboot. We need these people!!

Fredrik Skogsrud (Oslo, 2022-05-24)

#149

It is a great spa with a great cause!

Reece Parkinson (London, 2022-05-25)

#154

We stumbled upon this spot on our recent trip to Norway and it ended up beings hands down our favorite activity. This is a huge loss for the Akker Bryyge area and the sauna should be allowed to reopen and continue to bring joy to people as well as continue their conservation efforts.

Courtney Stapleford (Brooklyn, 2022-05-25)

#155

Amazing sauna! The people who run it are professional and do things that set them apart from the other saunas in the city. We want them to stay!

Elisabeth Stromme (Oslo, 2022-05-25)

#157

#167

Love saunas, hate green washing 🌱

Nora Stang (Oslo, 2022-05-26)

#168

Dermed basta. Og på forhånd takk 😅

Ashley Conn (Oslo, 2022-05-26)

#175

Oslo Fjord Spa is one of my favorite places in Oslo. It is so peaceful watching the water in the fjord or the boats passing by from the sauna.

There is a real sense of community at the saunas which I haven’t experienced elsewhere in Oslo. So many wonderful people and conversations are shared there and it is a massive loss for Oslo that they are not able to operate. Please do what is needed to bring them back again!!

Max Brosnahan (Oslo, 2022-05-27)

#176

This issue is important to me as well as many potential visitors considering travel to Oslo. We see a vibrant community working to clean up the environment and make it beautiful and welcoming. Features such as the floating saunas are one more reason to come visit!

When we can go anywhere give us another reason to be proud to visit Oslo.

Kathleen Jackson (Seattle , 2022-05-27)

#181

Im against the greenwashing of organisations trying to capatalise on the honest work of local businesses, if Aker brygge wants to include the fjrod clean up in their tax statistics they should start by getting their hands dirty

Thomas Wates (oslo, 2022-05-28)

#185

I visited Oslo in November and stumbled across this sauna with my friend, it was the best experience and the loveliest location, and the staff superb! We were hoping to fly back this year and go again!

Lucy Borrow (Northampton, 2022-05-29)

Oslo Fjord spa is the #1 spot on my to do list when I visit the city, since early 2020.
It is the reason why I go back to the city as I often as I can.
