Stop Norraco,Ezaga,Coinvest&tenetech unreasonable charges and allow us to use our previous (preferred) nsfas allowance distribution.

Note: Norraco, Ezaga, coinvest and tenetech are the similar therefore I will only write Norraco instead of writing all of them.

What NSFAS is doing is unreasonable because the charges are unreasonable. Our bank accounts charges are way better than norraco charges. On the 30 june 2023, most nsfas beneficiary students are upset and disappointed by the amount of charges they received (which is a total of R100+), with that R100 students could have bought a maize meal, meat and noodles that can last them for 9 days. 

NSFAS is exploiting students through this norraco and students are suffering even more. We cannot be stressing about academics and the norraco charges too.

Most of the universities don't need this norraco and NSFAS should do this norraco to universities that needs it. Most of us don't mind getting the allowances through our own preferred bank with lower charges like we did earlier this.

On behalf of all NSFAS beneficiary students, we want lower charges, direct the payments to our preferred banks (capitec, fnb, absa, etc) or stop norraco and allow the universities to distribute the allowances.

Charged are not the only problem, on 30 june 2023 some students didn't get their allowances and when they called norraco for several hours (they were not picking up the phone), they were told that they're waiting for nsfas to pay and then they will receive their allowance double on July ( leaving them to starve for a month). Previously if nsfas paid short amount, institutions used to pay out of their pockets. Which means that at the beginning of the year students will suffer at hands of norraco because they will be waiting for nsfas to pay (which they normally pay around April). 

If nsfas still want to use norraco to exploit students, there must be narroco officials in every institutions so that they can help or explain matters surrounding norraco (since they don't answer their phones, email and whatsapp) 

Main issues are: charges, late/no payments and not being helped/assisted by norraco officials.
