نداء لوقف مذابح النظام ضد شعب سوريا

يتعرض الشعب السوري اليوم لمذابح جماعية تقوم بها الأجهزة الأمنية للنظام الحاكم ما يشكل تعديا ومخالفة صريحة لجميع القوانين والقواعد والقيم الدولية والوطنية .
لقد جند النظام الحاكم أشرس أجهزته الأمنية والعسكرية بأسلحتها المتنوعة للقضاء على تطلعات السوريين نحو الحرية وبناء دولة المؤسسات والقانون، دولة العدل والمساواة لجميع المواطنين دون تمييز بسبب الدين أو الطائفة أو العرق أو الجنس .
منذ أكثر من أربعين عاماً والحرية تمثل حلماً وهاجسا للسوريين وعندما خرجوا في مظاهرات سلمية في 15 آذار/مارس تنادي بالحرية والكرامة أمر النظام فرق الموت التي أسسها من عناصر الحرس الجمهوري والفرقة الرابعة والأجهزة الأمنية باستخدام الذخيرة الحية ضد المتظاهرين .
يتطلع الشعب السوري للمجتمع الدولي ممثلا بهيئة الأمم المتحدة لاتخاذ إجراءات فورية لوقف هذه المجازر وتشكيل لجنة تحقيق دولية تذهب إلى سوريا لتقصي حيثيات تلك الجرائم ضد الإنسانية بغية إحالتها إلى محكمة الجنايات الدولية .
الشعب السوري بأمس الحاجة لحماية دولية عاجلة من نظامه، وكلنا أمل أن تلتفتوا لخطورة ما يجري في سوريا لما له من مخاطر ليس فقط على الشعب السوري، بل وعلى أمن واستقرار الوطن برمته.
نشكركم على كل جهد تقومون به لوقف ذبح السوريين ومحاسبة القتلة والمجرمين.

Appeal to stop the massacre of the Syrian people by the Syrian regime

 

To Mr Ban Kimoun, Secretary General of the United Nations

Today the Syrian people are being subjected to a massacre carried out by the Syrian security forces of the ruling regime.  These actions are in clear violation of international laws, Syrian domestic law and recognised human rights.

The ruling regime has armed the security forces and the army with all kinds of weapons to destroy the Syrian hopes and dreams of freedom and of building a country governed by the rule of law and institutions: a county of justice and equity for all Syrian citizens, regardless of religion, sect, race, or gender.

For more than forty years freedom has been like a distant dream for the Syrian people.  When they took to the streets in peaceful demonstration on 15th March 2011, calling for freedom and dignity, the regime deployed its most feared security forces (forces of death) against demonstrators.  These forces are comprised of the Republican Guard, the Fourth Group, (headed by Maher al-Asad), and the intelligence services and are authorised to use live bullets against demonstrators.

The Syrian people request that the international community, represented by the United Nations, take immediate action to stop these massacres and to establish an international investigative committee to go to Syria, to observe these crimes against humanity and to take those responsible to the International Criminal Court.

The Syrian people need, more than ever, urgent international protection from the Syrian regime and we are all hoping that you take this request seriously.  The current situation in Syria is extremely dangerous.  This danger is not only to the Syrian people but threatens the stability and security of the whole county.

Finally, we appreciate and thank you for all efforts to stop the massacres of Syrians and to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to account.
