A CALL TO MILITARY SERVICE VETERANS TO SUPPORT THE FIRING OF Denis McDonough AS SECRETARY OF THE VA AGENCY

     MILITARY SERVICE VETERANS ARE ASKED TO SIGN THIS PETITION IN SUPPORT OF A REQUEST TO PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN TO REMOVE Denis McDonough AS THE CURRENT SECRETARY OF VETERANS AFFAIRS. 

   McDonough is not a military veteran, and his recent policy missteps have caused us to believe that he is mostly "unteachable" about the priorities and urgencies that continues to plague our national veterans agenda, while he ignores the same. 

     The VA has been running an entire disability claims system with no designated police oversight or prosecutor named, to specifically make enforcements against the clerical Rater workforce. The veterans have no published filing form to use at the VA and there is no procedure to make a complaint even without a form. Sick veterans have no starting point where they can report issues or complaints against incompetent or criminal practices by the Raters at Comp & Pen. The Office of Inspector General at the VA refuses all authority over the clerical Rater workforce and claims process. VA is running "police-less" in the disability department against sick veterans.

     The VA has also been running an entire hazardous exposures operation for cherry-picked, and mostly mens, medical patient groups under a scheme of "preferential treatment". This scheme plays out uninterrupted while the VA does not even hire competent and licensed Environmental Medicine workers for the veterans case reviews or disability claims processing. Not a single EM Nurse; not a single EM Social Worker; and not a single EM physician or clinic can be found at the VA for helping new toxic exposure veterans come into the VA system as a national medical patient group. They are using "General Practice" doctors who are then given a VA workshop on toxic exposures. Of course the training comes from the incompetent mouthpiece of VA and not from the skilled workforce of the Environmental Protection Agency where the REAL practitioners are. You get the idea.

     Fort McClellan toxic exposure veterans have literally died right while they were fighting against VA lawyers at the VA Office of General Counsel for their rightfully earned service benefits for military toxic exposures. Environmental law cases are not even represented at the VA with lawyers who are specialized in this particular practice of law. The lawyers that VA exclusively offers are Veterans Disability lawyers and not Environmental Law lawyers. The veterans have no licensed or academic professional resource to rely upon to help lift themselves out of the many ordeals and traps of VA's procedures that lies waiting for them.

     Numerous attempts have been made on Twitter to inform and educate Mr. McDonough on these pressing matters. We are now throwing in the towel and consider him to be unteachable. It's time for him to go.
