Acknowledging the Value of the Ecological/Social Assosiation ARAN

PETITION OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE SOCIAL VALUE OF THE ASSOCIATION ARAN - Abundance Regenerators - C.I.F. G19584523

The association ARAN, with the help of the members and volunteers of all nationalities, has generated a new movement of valorisation and biodiversity regeneration, within the community of Andalucia and the localities of Velez-Malaga and Orgiva. Moreover, since April 2015, the social place of the association has been the emblematic historical building Molino Benizalte, where since the very beginning has been cleaned and tidied by the association, trying to guarantee a secured and valued building that has been for a long time considered an obsolete ruin. The collection of plants which were already growing at the Molino has been taken care of and even enhanced by the association. The focus is on the preservation and regeneration of the life and ecology surrounding the building and contained in the three gardens: the inner gardens, the social garden and the public garden just in front of the facade of the shrine, very famous amongst locals. Ultimately, the association works with society through the divulgation of its values by acting in important ecological events such as re-forestations, fito-depuration projects, preserving native species of plants in the gardens... For this, we ask for the acknowledgement of our actions as beneficial in the ambit of Nature and the multicultural aspect we represent. Our petition for the authorities is that our social action as Association ARAN is recognised and consequently we are allowed to keep on living at the Molino Benizalte and bringing it to life.
