An appeal to the athouritues of Mithibai College Autonomous to postpone FYJC exams commencing from 23rd of March, 2020

1. In the wake of the recent spread of Corona Virus (Covid-19) we the student of FYJC (Arts, Science, Commerce) appeal to the Mithibai College Athourities to postpone the Final Annual Examinations commencing on the 23rd of March,2020.
2. Many Students reside away from College, thus they have to use public transports like Local Trains, Metros and busses. This increases the threat of the virus and makes students vulnerable to it. 

3. Why government shutting down schools is essential during COVID 19 pandemic

   Children are potential carriers of

   SARS COV 2

   New studies found out that youth can shed the virus via active oral/feel route for weeks while being asymptotic (without showing any symptoms) In adults max shedding happens uptil 7 days, while youth can shed the virus for Weeks

   Shutting down schools may help to flatten the curve delay the spread of COVID 19 to a certain degree.

4. Therefore we hope that The college will listen to our plead and take the nescessary actions for the welfare of students
