In this petition, we call for an immediate ban on the use of horses and mules in the Chardham Yatra and advocate for the promotion of animal welfare at religious places nationwide.

Background: The Chardham Yatra, comprising four sacred pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand, witnesses a significant influx of devotees every year. Unfortunately, the use of horses and mules as a means of transportation during this journey often results in animal abuse and suffering.
