Clean lakes (Nelamangala and Binnamangala) for the Better health of the environment

1. Nelamangala Lake and Binnamangala lake (Near tumkur road) have crossed the safe level and are at hazard level.
2. Spanning more than 5 acre space had served as - Drinking water source for surrounding community, agriculture, household activities ; home for many birds and water habitat over years.
3. Now this lake is hazardously contaminated with sewage water being routed directly to the lake from nearby apartments and surrounding areas.
4. Lake fishes are dying , Birds habitat reduced to greater extent , fouling sewage smell all over the environment contaminating air, mosquito breeding causing health issues to nearby residents and children essentially making it a sewage.
5. The bourwells arround the lake are carrying the contaminated water out.
6. There are lots of people using the same water for the agricultural purposes and the same vegetables are eaten by people.
7. The bad smell oozes out of lake everytime, which is again affecting the fresh air arround. Just imagine how much chemicals would go inside the human beings. 
8. Lot's of politicians just giving outh to clean that, but it's not happening. It's time for the people' power
9. We urge all citizens of surrounding location , volunteers , NGOs to join hands in signing this petition which shall be submitted to concerned authority for further actions.
