Creating Gender Inclusive Bathrooms at Oneness Family HS

Oneness Family Montessori high school is advertised as a loving and safe enviroment for all, and as students most of us feel this. However, we lack promotion of inclusivity when it comes to our school's bathrooms. They are cleary labeled "GIRLS" and "BOYS," forcing people to make a choice that doesn't necessarily align with their gender identity, which is a basic human need. I petition that we create new signs, "men and nonbinary identifiers" and "women and nonbinary identifiers."Creating more gender inclusive bathrooms would demonstrate that as a school we affirm all students and respect everyone for who they are. Sign this petition to show that you are supportive of all of the students in our community, after we recieve enough signatures I will send it to Andrew Kutt, the head of school.
