THE ACADEMY IS A MAFIA FULL OF GREEDY DINOSAURS THAT DO NOT RESPECT THE MODERN TALENTS OF NEW FILMMAKERS! !

ARE THEY AFRAID THAT THE BEST FILM FOR 2 YEARS IN ROW WAS MADE BY MEXICAN DIRECTORS??

IS AMERICAN CINEMA ON DECLINE ?

SHIT...

There is so little originality in film scores these days. Hans Zimmer copies his own scores, and half of the other composers copy his. Antonio Sanchez gave Birdman something truly unique and just as effective as the best film scores of all time. And it stands alone equally well as some of the most musical drumming, which is something Antonio never fails to deliver.

I have a lot of movie soundtracks in my music collection. I was blown away by this soundtrack, and the innovative use of drums to build tension and transition scenes. I stayed through the credits to find out who the drummer was. This groundbreaking effort needs to be recognized by the academy. Thank you for your time.

Is this a discrmination case? Is it because he's not American but Mexican?

I´m not a music expert, so I don´t know if Antonio deserves to win, but certainly he deserves the right to compete...

The questions to the academy are totally valid to the already establesido examples ... hopefully rectify their bad SECT.

We saw the movie this weekend and I still have the drum score reverberating in my bones.  It was very powerful, in a way that I rarely experience.  It made the movie something far more impactful than it would have been otherwise.  Other music in the movie was so irrelevant that I do not even recall it.

Antonio Sanchez is an inspiration and a real artist. Shame on the Academy for disqualifying Mr. Sanchez. The good news is that his career proves what he's made of, with that being said he doesn't need an Oscar. By now he's already one of the best drummers in the world and inspiration to millions of drummers out there. It's obvious that the Academy is afraid of such a talented Artist or he's probably so ahead of the game that they can't even recognize his work and talent. There's a reason why he's the drummer of one of the best jazz guitar players in the world. Go and ask Pat Metheny, you figure.....

Luis Campos!!

The music made the movie...wit out a doubt the artist should be recognized. I feel it was an unfair and irrational decision. Shame on you!!!

I do not know this men personally, his music clearly made this move what it is!!!! i feel compelled to sign this petition because this Oscar thing is only when you are connected with the BIG DOGS you get it !!!
Not fair that this truly hard working, talented artist should be denied this oscar so one of 'THEIR FRIENDS" get it!!!

Antonio Sánchez es víctima de una injusticia. De los mejores soundtracks y bateristas que he escuchado.
