If I knew before this homestead existed I would have visited on one (or all) my trips to Sweden. I would have visited it with my children. I think the value of such sites should not be underestimated.

Imagine when someone outside Scandinavia arrives, let's says Americans; what will they say? "Where are the damn Vikings

Were are here and not to leave, just because some puppets messed it up with their part of "administration"

I am a fellow reenactor and feel these types of places need to be both exposed and promoted to the public.

Heritage for the people is always good I stayed at West Stow which is similar and has a visitor center close by for people to learn about the site. I hope you get the funding and help you need to stay open and be there for future generations to enjoy too.

The Swedish Viking heritage and culture is important so it should not be forgotten and sites like this should be kept open.

Closing down heritage sites is very short sighted. Think of all the tourist dollars it could bring to the area if properly promoted.

Retaining heritage skills worldwide is vital. Only corrupt & stupid officialdom is oblivious to this.

Our history is important. If you dont show children (and others) what Sweden looked like 1000 years ago we soon will loose our roots.

This place should stay open....Surely it's cheaper/ financially economic to employ PR/marketing people that can do their job than keep the same people who don't promote such venues - ie bring in the necessary income to keep the accountants happy.
