The citizens of Clarkston have spoken ! They voted for recreational marijuana and they are going to use recreational marijuana. The only question is are they going to get it off the black market tax free or will they be able to walk into a store, pay taxes and buy their legal marijuana.

#4: -  Indeed and I would rather see regulated and safe marijuana sold than laced black market.

I would LOVE to have my job back and no longer be told by 5 old dudes that I need to go search for 3 different jobs per week because their values are somehow better than mine and that "as long as there's legal issues then the ban stays in place." Last I checked that sounds a lot like blackmail. We didn't ask our public SERVANTS to do things so poorly and so "moral majority"-y that they all found themselves getting sued. That's not mine or my families fault. But my family still gets to suffer the consequences of it. No one asked them to abuse the power they have. They did that all by themselves and now must suffer their own consequences. And I hope those consequences for them are at least worse than unemployment. Because this definitely sucks... And I DON'T even deserve it. Imagine what karma's got for them. Yikes.

Because I believe the law was passed to allow marijuana use and should be obeyed.

because the majority of Clarkston voters approved I-502 yet the city council says that our votes DO NOT COUNT and they know what is best for the City of Clarkston. Pure Nazi Tyranny

I cannot find the edit button but I messed up. I meant to say a lawsuit is in place not that the city sued these businesses. Regardless a lot of time and money is being spent instead of being made by creating jobs and tax revenue for Clarkston residents.

Because I believe in the voters, they voted in legal marijuana it is up to them if it should be banned not a few individuals with personal feelings. Our leaders are supposed to put aside any biased opinions and look at the facts with a clear understanding, when you cannot perform your duties and they interfere with a vote being passed that is tyranny and oppression. We will not sit back or back down to these individuals, May the will of the people be heard....

Because the people voted for it so it should be lifted many benefit from it. Some can't afford to go out of town to get it.

If the sales are allowed we would have so much more money for taxes for our childrens education as well as money to fix this tpwn

I'm not a pot user but I absolutely have the right to expect our government to execute the will of voters -- their refusal is outrageously sanctimonious and unacceptable. We may not like everything that voters approve, but it is a process and our elected officials should not deny us our process to work things out. Hope a lot of people get voting!

I am a medical patient. I have severe violent behavioral changes when taking pharmaceutical medication. It would be most helpful if I didn't have to drive all the way to Spokane to fill the scripts. Thank you.

Because economically speaking alone, this is the easiest, and most viable means of keeping our economy afloat and it has the potential to balance our national deficit if the rest of the country would just pull their heads out of their asses.

I signed this petition because I truly believe its ridiculous adults are being criminalized for smoking a natural plant, unlike the consumption of tobacco with all its added addictive & disease causing chemicals, or the monster that is alcohol. The city can only benefit from its legalization in all honesty, especially with how strictly regulated & monitored the shops have proven to be.

This is a business ! LEGAL,professional ,and very much needed! Dispensarys are retail shops , just like all you others!!! If you choose to dislike the products or what there retailing in there own store, then don't go there! Denying someone there means of making a living is wrong! Washington is a legal state so let it be folks! It's all revenue for us!
