Something should be done to preserve the historical riches in Lebanon.
The more I know about what was lost, the sadder it is for me to walk around Beirut.
Great history lies here, it will be a shame to loose it and prevent its transfer to the newer generations

انا اوافق على العريضة واتمني الاطاحة بهذا الوزير "الغبي" باي شكل او طريقة متاحة. أما ماورد بخصوص هانز كورفر انا اتحفظ عليه للاسباب التالية:ان قرار التفكيك او الجرف هو من صلاحيات المدرية العامة للاثار كما انه لم يوصي في تقاريره بالجرف او التفكيك.علما ان غيره في بيروت من اثاريين لبنانيين يعملون سماسرة لدي اصحاب الارض و عقار 1075
.شاهد على ذلك (district S)
كما اني تمنيت ان ارى اسم لاحد الاثاريين اللبنانيين دكاترة و طلاب ممضين عن العريضة خصوصا العاملين في بيروت.و كثيرا منهم تحولوا الى مقاولين منهم من يؤجر الجارافات و اخر الكمبروسيرات في مواقع هم يعملون فيها كاثاريين . اعتقد ان على الاثاريين اللبنانيين ان يخففوا من عدائهم للاثاريين الاجانب الذين غير قادرين عن مجاراتهم في الفساد.

The Government as a whole is supposed to move out anyways. I sign to draw attention that this position should be occupied by someone who RESPECTS THE CITIZEN and takes into consideration LEBANON"S INTERESTS above all!

Anyone this incompetent should not be in a position to make such important decisions for The Lebanon.
These sites are World Known and you have an imbecile demolishing them.
Australian and New Zealand Lebanese are MORTIFIED by such stupidity.
Please replace this minister with someone who cares about Lebanese Heritage.

I've signed the petition although I think it's useless to ask for firing a Minister in an already-resigned council of Minister; the country is not able to form a new government to replace the old one. Especially that he's 'only' the Culture Minister in a government that doesn't care or understand the importance of culture.

Although I appreciate what you guys are doing and I am too far, the best would have been to ask straight for an official investigation into the alleged wrong-doings. My humble opinion

Fady, already done but for specified cases, and through this petition maybe the global one will follow... as for the already resigned gvt, there is already a case like this but he declared that he stops working and he was replaced for the actual current works (I'm talking about Mr Ghazi Aridi)...

نأسف على الاقلام المأجورة التي تريد محاسبة الوزير, فانتم قمة الفساد. ماذا فعلتم لاثار بيروت غير تشويه الحقيقة و تدمير اثارها والطرق العلمية للحفريات التي تدعون بمعرفتها والتي لا تمت للعلم بصلة لا من قريب ولا من بعيد. كبف تحاسبون من عنده ضمير و انتم من يحاسبكم يا اصحاب الضمائر الميتة. واخيرا, نأسف للضمائر التي اشترتها السياسة.

يا ضمير حيّ، أيقظ صوت ضميرك ! ألا تعلم أنّك تخاطب مجموعة شباب من المجتمع المدني ليس لهم أيّة علاقة بألاعيب السياسة التي يبدو أنّك تفهم جدّاً بها وبألاعيبها وتنعتنا بصفاة لا تشبه إلا طريقة تعاملك أنت ومن هم من المفروض أن يكونوا مؤتمنون على الحفاظ على تراثنا ؟؟؟
نحن ندين كلّ من تطاول ويتطاول على ما تبقّى من تاريخنا. عندما كان الغير يلعب ويمحي آثارنا وهويّتنا في الماضي، كنّا ما زلنا أطفال، لا يحق لنا بالكلام والتعبير عن رأينا، ناهيك عن الألعاب السياسيّة الوسخة التي كانت تدور، فأين كنتم والجيل الأكبر منّا سنّاً ؟هذه الجمعيّة الصغيرة اليوم تريد أن تقف ضدّ هذه الجرائم و ضد ما تبقّى من تراثنا، أما معاليه، فما زال يمضي بالأوراق لتهديم معالمنا التاريخيّة.

يجب عليك أن تقرأ الصحف كافةً، خاصةً الأجنبية، وترى كيف يتهكمون  بالأعمال التخريبية التي تتكاثر يوماً بعد يوم.

!!!!!!!يكفي أن نقرأ معلومة واحدة، لندرك صحّة أقوالنا و تهجمك الكاذب المبني على الباطل، وهي : تعامل معاليه مع السفاح المأجور الذي دمّر بيروت أيّام اسوليدير، هانس كورفرز

#20: صوت الضمير - Re: Petition to replace + sanction Minister of Culture Mr Gaby من المؤسف ان يقع  تحت اسم "ضمير حي" كل هذه الأقاويل مع انني متأكد ان المعني له حقيقة ضمير حي.. ولكن حتى أصحاب الضمائر الحيّة يتمّ تضليلهم فما قلته في أخر رسالة يعطي الإثبات الجازم على ذلك عندما تكلمتم عن "هنس كورفر" فتأكد يا صديقي انّ ما تراه او تسمعه من الوزير او من مستشاريه او حتى ممن يمثّله في المديرية ليس بالضرورة مطابق للواقع.. فبالإجمال هؤلاء هم ملوك التضليل والكوميديا السوداء.. اما فيما خص "كورفر" فعلى  عكس ما تعتقد يا صديقي إنه شريك لهم وقدإعتمدوا تقريره لتكسير المرفأ الفينيقي الثاني كما فعلوا اليوم بالنسبة للميدان الروماني.. فاليوم لدينا "سوليدير أصغر" بالإدارة الحالية للأثار  وبشخص المهندس غابي ليون ولكنه أخطر بكثير إذ أنّ أثار وتراث على كامل مساحة لبنان تابعة له. .أتستطيع ان تعطي لنا أمثلة حقيقية يدعم ما تدّعيه، كما فعلوا الذين حضروا هذه العريضة كما هل لديك أي إعتراضات مباشرة حقيقية على ما ورد فيها.؟؟ هذا هو السبيل الوحيد لنكون إيجابيين تجاه اي شيء يعرض علناً فيا صديقي لا نستطيع ان ننفي شجاعة افراد هذه الجمعية بالذي طرحوه مع كل هذه التفاصيل، حتى لو كنّا لا نوافق على المضمون.. فأفلّه الإحترام واجب لهم وليس الشتائم والكلام  من خارج إطار الثقافة والتراث.. وشكراً
