It should be all about keeping our children off of the streets and off of xbox! Fathers who volunteer their precious time should never be turned away! Stop the politics and Grow up! You need to set a good example for our children!!!

This "new idea" has nothing to do with improving the baseball experience for the kids. This looks like something Governor Chris Christie would do.

This sounds like a personal vendetta against the GRAYS and the kids are caught in the middle of it. I do not understand why we have to go to another town to use their baseball field if we pay so much tax for our field? When is the next election?

No need to be nasty about it and nitpick. There's no one drinking kool-aid. The point is that you pay taxes and should be able to use your local parks just like others in the community. Also, for the record - the Grays teams have been playing more and more in the Town of Brookhaven league which welcomes teams from outside of TOB for a nominal extra fee. They do this because it brings in revenue to the town and because it enhances the quality of life within the town. The kids and parents like it because it's a good, fun experience.    -Paul Bevilacqua
