My son is enrolled at NMMU currently. His right to education is taken from him. We have to pay for his tuition and although we are perceived to be the 'advantaged', we are sacrificing a great deal to offer him this opportunity. Furthermore, with all the disruptions in classes and therefore tests & exams, he is really being put in an extremely difficult position that will definitely prejudicial to him. He is registered at the disability unit and have to inform them of all test and exam dates at least a week before the actual date. This is to ensure that they enough time to arrange a scribe for him. With everything happening now, my greatest concern is that there will not be enough time to arrange all of this. He will definitely be prejudiced by this.
