Greenville School systems treatment of eLearners

To whom it does concern.

We the parents here by insist on a prompt resolution to the following issues, work completed and grades withheld, numerous I.T issues, excessive work load, inexcusably poor communication from school faculty, inflexible school syllabi which were not meant for the current situation we find ourselves with the pandemic, inaccurate attendence system, and lastly the complete mishandling of our children's academic future.

We are working parents doing everything we can to help our children and the seemingly over whelmed school teachers, and yet it seems there has been very little consideration give to the fact that, many of us if not most of us, work full time jobs plus come home to help with the mountain of school work given our children ( which seems aimed at punishing eLearning students) only to see our efforts dashed by the disjointed system the S.C school board put together at the last minute. A record number of students are failing and or struggling this year and many of them came from the previous year having been straight A students. I've have seen the hardship with our children and fellow parents children, kids breaking down in tears because they're unable to finish the excessive amount of work given, whole weekends devoted to trying to get caught up, to have the bad able teachers ridiculed our children's efforts. We will not stand by for this farse any longer.

Items of resolution, all work done should receive a grade equal to the work that was done regardless of time frame, students should not have to go looking for tests/classwork, it should be clearly listed under the to-do section, and be accompanied by some sort of reminder alert, the work load must be made manageable, so the work can be finished within a reasonable amount of time, teachers who are unwilling to be flexible or chastise students during this adverse time should be dealt with accordingly.
