Improve telco network in Northshore Residential Area

Our community has been experiencing persistent network issues even a year after our key collection.

We regularly have to step out of our units to receive mobile OTPs or to make basic phone calls. Telcos' responses have been for us to use wifi but in case of emergencies, none of our emergency services have a whatsapp number to call - so wifi should not even be considered as a viable alternative.

Our carpark is a dead network zone despite it being an 'open space'. While it might seem like it is not necessary to get network in the carpark, it makes our carpark a dangerous space to be in - because there is no way for one to get help if you are injured or assaulted in the carpark. To make matters worse, we are getting fined for not paying for parking when ours is an online parking payment system but we cannot even get any network in the carpark.

There seem to be excuses as to why adequate network cannot be provided in sea facing units but that does not seem to make sense when the park connector that is even closer to the sea gets network - so it seems to be more a matter of which agency should be in charge and who should bear the cost of it. Right now, by pushing the responsibility around the agencies, we residents are being made to bear the cost of this issue - which isn't fair since we are already paying our telcos for network coverage and we are regular tax payers. If other tax payers and home owners get proper network in their residential area, shouldn't we get it too?

Hence, we are collecting signatures of residents who have been impacted by this poor network.
