INDUCT THE MARVELETTES INTO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

The Marvelettes have quite a history--and have made a mark on this thing we call music ever since 1961. They put their stamp on the Motown sound when they released Please Mr Postman and they have set the dynamic sfor female groups everywhere--including Motown's own Supremes and Martha and the Vandellas. I am giving you that bit of history because these ladies deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame---they should have BEEN in there. We ALMOST got them in there in 2013--We followed the criteria for the voting process for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the letter--we have over 1,000 members and each one of them voted and told their family and friends to vote, only to be disappointed. so in that year--they were instead inducted as the FIRST female group to be inducted into the newly formed Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame. They are also about to be inducted into the Soul Music Hall of Fame. Please understand and appreciate along with me--the great contribution these ladies made to music--they are innovators, they are pioneers most of all--they are LEGENDS and deserved to be honored as such into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If there is anything you can do to help me and the Fan Club to achieve this while we still have Katherine, Anne, Georgia and Wanda--this would be greatly appreciated.--Patricia A.
