Justice for “JOHN PAUL DEKOCK “

PETITION TO DENY BAIL FOR "ACCUSED"DUDLEY WEHR

To: The Honourable Magistrate of Bluedowns Magistrate’s Court

Subject: Petition to Deny Bail for Mr. Dudley Wehr in the Case Number 909/03/2025 of murdered victim Mr. John Paul Dekock

Date:05 April 2025

We, the undersigned residents of Sunbird Park and Surrounding  communities ,family and friends hereby submit this petition to respectfully urge the Honourable Court to deny bail to Mr. Dudley Wehr, who stands accused of the alleged murder of Mr. JP De Kock  on March 29, 2025. Our collective appeal is grounded on the following considerations:

1. Severity of the Alleged Crime:

The charge against Mr. Wehr involves the alleged unlawful and intentional killing of Mr. JP Dekock, a grave offence that has deeply affected our community.

2. Risk to Public Safety:

Mr. Wehr is reputedly known for prior “violent” behaviour and malicious acts. Releasing him on bail poses a significant risk to the safety and security of our community members.

3. Potential Interference with Judicial Process:

Given his alleged history, there is a concern that Mr. Wehr might interfere with witnesses or obstruct the judicial process if granted bail.

4. Public Outcry and Public Order:

The tragic loss of Mr. Dekock  has led to widespread grief and unrest within our community. Granting bail to the accused could exacerbate tensions and potentially disturb public order.

In light of the above, we earnestly request that the Honourable Court considers these factors and denies bail to Mr. Dudley Wehr in the interest of justice and community safety.

Sincerely,

Latifah Jacobs
