JUSTICE FOR SENZO MEYIWA
We the undersigned are deeply concerned that the 26th of October 2024 will be 10 years since Senzo Meyiwa, football captain of the South African national team was murdered & justice is still not served. There's been so many irregularities of the police at the crime scene & elsewhere on this case. Atleast 8 possible key witnesses have since died under mysterious circumstances & no arrests have been made. Others were gunned down.
The then lawyer (Adv Teffo) that represented the alleged falsely accused received death threats from unknown people & got harassed several times by senior police officers.
There seem to be high profile government officials that have an interest in covering up & protecting the real suspect who pulled the trigger on Senzo Meyiwa. Senzo's father have since passed away after suffering severe depression due to the injustice seen in this case. The previous judge on this case was replaced & concerns of bias on current one have been raised by legal experts & frustrated citizens in an open letter to Gauteng High Court judge president Dustan Mlambo, published on 3 May 2004 (Sunday World).
The Senzo Meyiwa family & South African citizens want justice & closure after the football icon was murdered 10 years ago. We can't sit back & watch a corrupt South African justice system fail the international football & general sports community at large in resolving this long overdue murder case of the legendary Senzo Meyiwa. We demand justice without any further delays, including appropriate actions taken against senior police & other suspects implicated in docket 375, as exposed by Mr Teffo. All witnesses that were at the crime scene must be brought before the court.
