Justice for Tinkerbelle

Mr P of Olivine Road, Everest Heights, Verulam, owns 2 pitbull dogs. From earlier this year the dogs were constantly entering my yard through the neighbouring property.I had called the owner to remove the dogs as they were often a danger to my children and 2 dogs. The dogs tried attacking my husband on one occasion when he tried to remove them from our property. All of this the owner is well aware of.The owner informed me that the dogs were leaving their yard due to their chains not being strong enough, and because of his neighbours conducting rituals. On Thursday, 20 August 2020 as I entered my driveway my puppy Tinkerbelle was savagely attacked by these monsters. They mauled her causing her front limb to be partially ripped off and the rest of her body was badly bitten. She was hospitalised at Ballito Veterinary Hospital, but sadly passed on 22 August 2020 due to the nature of her injuries.Mr P has been notified of this incident, and intends to sort out this dilemma by purchasing thicker restraints. These animals are a danger to my children and my other dog. I have to lock up my dog during the day in order to protect her.I had to erect fences to prevent these animals from entering my yard.Bare in mind, we don't even live on the same road. I live on Emerald Road, Everest Heights, Verulam. It's not going to be long before human blood is shed, not that my Tinkerbelle's life has had any less worth. I have full faith in my community to restore peace to me and mine. These dogs need to be removed from the community and need to be re-homed in order for them to be re-rehabilitated. The owner clearly cannot understand these dogs as he has created these monsters by chaining them. tinky.jpg
