Kwamagxaki residents against crime

We as the people of Kwamagxaki would like to lay our grievances of High Crime Rate to the South African Police. We have tried our outmost best to follow procedure and protocol in addressing our issues with the Rising Crime Rate in Kwamagxaki.

We wrote a letter to the Councillor and introduced ourselves as the voice of the Community. The letter stipulated a number of serious Challengers and one of them was Crime in our Community.

We then held a meeting inviting the Community and the Councillor to give the Councillor an opportunity to introduce himself and hear these challenges directly from the Community.

We also hosted another meeting where the Councillor invited all the stakeholders from the different departments relevant to the complaints raised by the people of Kwamagxaki.Kwadwesi Police Station and Metro Police were represented to adress the Rising Crime. They gave out numbers to contact and promised to work with the community and be more visible.

In our Community Whatsapp group we added the Councillor, Kwadwesi Police Station Captain and Metro Police Commander. We reported all crimes and received no Feedback from reported incidents. We have urged the community not to take the Law into their own Hands.

House Robberies, hijackings, shootings, robbering of cellphones and personal items in the streets are some of the Crimes we are facing.

We have now experienced a gruesome killing of two elderly women of our society inside of their own home.Where are we supposed to be safe??

Officials have been hiding behind one excuse for far too Long " We Lack in Resources" and " Our Jurisdiction has expanded beyond our means".What has been done about that all these years? Its too much Now!!

Enough is Enough we Matter Too!!!
