North Epping Skatepark/Pumptrack Action Group.

The kids of North Epping have long awaited a safe and sustainable place to ride Mountain bikes without the need to dig up and build dirt jumps within the National Parks and local bush areas. The massive increase in Mountain biking has been a great way for people of all ages to get outdoors and participate in a fun and challenging sport. 

The local community has witnessed a surge in large groups of kids riding bikes after school looking for a place to ride in safety without fear of being abused for building jumps and tracks. Travelling to other suburbs to ride is not a workable solution given the age of the kids, having to utilise public transport and the distance from home.

Councils all over the country have been constructing some fantastic Mountain biking facilities including Pumptracks which with careful consultation by professional and dedicated teams, can produce a safe and sustainable place for people of all ages and skill level to ride.

Please help the community of North Epping by way of petitioning our local Council. Your signature will be counted as support for a great opportunity for our kids to stay active, safe, build new friendships, promote mental wellbeing and improve their riding skills.
