PDE 4 EXAM 17 NOVEMBER 2022

We as Property Practitioners would like to raise our voice in respect of the incompetent unprofessional manner our exam day was managed. First of all 5 weeks prior to the exam we were continuously reminded to register to do the exams and make sure that we paid the R 1 067 -00. Getting to the exam venues and wanting to start it was disastrous. And not at all the fault of the venue but of the PPRA. At 09h00 when we had to start we could not login. We battled until around 11h00 and then got n communique from the PPRA that they were not prepared for the exam. We then waited a while longer and only some of us were able to login, By then most of the candidates still didnt have their passwords or links to do the exam. The horror continued when we eventually got into the system and started answering the questions. When going back to previous questions we found that the answers did not save on the portal at all. We had to redo some of the questions 5 to 6 times. Eventuallly the short sections saved. But to our surprise the Business plan , marketing plan and the case study didnt save. Even after repeting it 5 to 6 times. We eventually copied and pasted it on a Word document and then kept on trying to get it saved. It wouldnt. Then after this battle we couldnt submit. Another 30 minutes of time wasted. Please note that we have been in the exam centres constantly from 8h30 to 17h30. We started at 09h00 with the horror experience. We couldn't have something to eat or drink cause apparently you get watched on your laptop camera. This was extremely discomfortable. No normal human being can sustain this torture for being in a n exam for 8 hours and more. And it didnt stop here. We were then informed that we will get a chance to re write but at a venue picked by the PPRA and that it will be manual and not on-line. How can they be so unrealistic?? Because of their incompetence our candidates must drive 2 and 3 hours to a venue where no seat allocations are given. So when you pitch at a venue and it is full, you have to race to another venue and hope to get a spot. We need answers.
