Petition for Provision of Online Classes for Ladybrand Academy Students

Please sign our petition to get , Management of Ladybrand Academy  to offer an option for Online classes (for Grades 4-6 and 8 -11) for students during the current Covid-19 Pandemic.

As parents, we are concerned that some of our children will not be able to attend classes during the covid 19 pandemic  for the following reseasons;

1. A number of Parents with Chronic Diseases are at high risk of contracting the virus from Students who may be exposed or come incontact with carries.
2. High percentage of parents are financially unable to use the suggested boarding facilities making it neccessary to use daily transport to and from Lesotho.
3. The current Situation with the Manyatseng Taxis who demand students should vacate their transport at the bordergate, then get into the public transport at the bordergate presents a high risk for  students, as their regular transport is unable to support them on the lesotho side, meaning that they now have to use public transport on the Lesotho side too.

We also request that when this option is offered teachers must also make it possible to recieve corrected assigments, and they must also be able to call/whatsapp with teachers to discuss.
