Pop ups, tear drops and small watercraft

Allow small camping trailers (pop ups, teardrop campers, etc)  and small watercraft (jet skis,  small motorboats, small sailboats etc. )  to be parked in our residential driveways during the camping and boating season, May 1- September 30 each year. Current  ordinance requirements to remain in effect for  October 1- April 30. 

Small camping trailers and small watercraft permitted to be parked in driveways to provide for ease of use to Ferrysburg homeowners so long as their placement  does not create any visual obstruction to roadways or road intersections.  Both shall be kept clean and neat in appearance and in good working order for personal use only. ( not rentable equipment or frequent sale to prevent clutter or neighborhood blight). 

We live among very active neighbors who love to seize the beauty of Michigan’s parks and waterways during the summer. Help foster this healthy and active lifestyle  by changing the current ordinance to allow  your neighbors to keep their small campers and watercraft easily accessible on their own driveways (outside of HOA’s)  to enjoy the beauty all around us!
