Regarding Installation of New Stainless Steel Water Cooler with RO Water Purifier System in School of Materials Science & Technology

Installation of new water cooler with RO water purifier system in School of Materials Science & Technology is much required at this time. As you know, with temperatures expected to rise in the coming months, it is essential to provide students, faculty and staff with access to clean, safe and cool drinking water throughout the day for well-being and healthy. Currently, School of Materials Science & Technology does not have a water cooler, and students and staff have to bring their own water bottles or collect water from outside. However, during the summer months, these bottles can become warm quickly, making it less appealing for students to stay hydrated. This is not only inconvenient but also results in increased use of single-use plastic bottles, which is harmful to the environment. Availability of pure water is a student right as we are paying a huge sum as the fees to the institute.

We believe that the installation of a water cooler will greatly benefit our students, faculty and staff. It will provide easy access to clean and cold water, promote healthy hydration habits, and reduce the use of plastic bottles. Also we support green campus in the institute but using plastic bottles due to the inavailability of the water cooler.

We request to kindly consider our proposal and install water coolers in the department on an urgent basis.
