The dogs are not viscous in any way that iv ever seen

(Bourne, 2017-01-23)

#3807

He must be allowed to keep his dog. As a compromise, the dog could wear a muzzle perhaps.

(Spalding, 2017-01-23)

The council need to stop picking on the less fortunate and do something to support this person. Not alienate and prosecute him on false grounds. It's an obviously placid dog and the council are up in arms because they can't follow up on old cases as pointed out by this gentleman. Sort your act out.

(Wisbech, 2017-01-23)

#3819

The dogs are cared for and he's doing no harm to anyone .. he needs the dogs and they need him

(Peterborough , 2017-01-23)

#3821

His dogs have never come across as vicious

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3822

Some humans find it so easy to pass a death sentence on an animal I wonder whether they would be so brave if it were one of their own nobody has the right to be judgemental over others!!!!

(lichfield, 2017-01-23)

#3823

It's completely unfair and unacceptable.

(Nottingham, 2017-01-23)

#3826

I'm sick to death of this blatant witch-hunt and hostility to those who need the most help, 99% of the time it's really NOT their own fault that they've ended up desperate. We ALL need someone to love, and to love us back. Leave this guy alone, then neither we nor his dog will have to take drastic retaliatory action!

(KETTERING, 2017-01-23)

#3828

Its time to stop bullying the homeless because they are a soft target. Eddie the Busker is a popular site and sound around Bridge Street and he loves his dog Floyd, I've never seen the dog being aggressive unless provoked and suspect the accusations are malicious and spitefully aimed at crushing Eddie who has nothing else but his dogs. A noisy dog is a good deterrent against those who would assault and abuse the vulnerable and as neither the council or the police do anything to protect them I believe they should not be taking action that leaves Eddie, or anyone else, at more at risk. A more appropriate ruling would be to order Floyd to wear a mussel during the day.

(SPALDING, 2017-01-23)

#3829

Because that dog is so very tame and friendly.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3830

(Rotherham, 2017-01-23)

#3839

This dog is not a threat!!I walk past this man and dog every week and he has never shown any aggression. He may bark at other dogs, but as life long owners of dogs we know this is a natural trait of dogs.To destroy this dog would be a 'crime'.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-23)

(Somersham, 2017-01-23)

#3859

Im signing because every time i have been to peterborough this dog has not made any noise or fuss while people walk past. If the council want people off the streets then help them.

(Whittlesey, 2017-01-23)

#3860

This is based on what? How can you do this? This man has so little in his life, why take the 2 things he does have? How cruel :-(

(Leicester, 2017-01-23)

#3863

I love dogs, so please leave these poor dogs with their owner.

(March Cambs, 2017-01-23)

#3867

I don't know Eddie personally but what I do know is I've walked past him with his dog thousands of times and never has it been vicious or out of control neither have I ever see it be vicious or out of control I think the council need to concentrate more on housing the homeless rather than a dog that's supposedly vicious which in my view is total nonsense

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3869

bless

(Wisbech, 2017-01-24)

#3871

Don't take his beloved dogs away from him. They are so sweet x

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3873

Help train the dogs if needed. Every life deserves to be given every chance.

(Plmouth, 2017-01-24)

#3875

There are many who attest to the fact this fog is not vicious or dangerous. I believe them, especially when a friend' sensitive autistic son knows the dog in question. Add to this the owner is being responsible and ensuring the dog is not free to roam & attack, I conclude this man & his dog are causing no harm.

(Wusbech, 2017-01-24)

#3876

I am signing because there is no way that this dog is dangerous. I have stopped near him on many occasions and he has never shown one bit of aggression whatsoever

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3877

I am signing this because it is not right for someone to destroy a persons life by taking away the only thing they have left

(Spalding, 2017-01-24)

#3878

It's about time we stood up to the bullies that think it's ok to take someone's beloved pet

(Manchester , 2017-01-24)

#3879

Bless this man and his dogs. No dog should put down because you 'think' it's aggressive. Dogs are a mans bestfriends and his bestfriends are the only thing he has.

(Lincolnshire, 2017-01-24)

#3880

It's a disgrace leave he's dogs alone.

(Essex, 2017-01-24)

#3882

These dogs are supposed to be unfriendly. Many people have dogs who aren't friendly but they are not made to have them destroyed. This appears to be prejudicial treatment due to this owner's homeless status. These dogs could be muzzled if need be, just like any dogs of people who have homes. Don't kill two healthy dogs and take away this man's loving companions when there are ways to amend a situation, which should be available to all citizens, not just those who have homes. This is cruel and totally unnecessary.

(Sheffield, 2017-01-24)

#3884

Because pets are important. People love their pets like family.

(Ancaster , 2017-01-24)

#3888

Because these dogs are his life . The dog I've seen him with was friendly . No barking or attempting to bite .

(Peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#3889

The man only has his dogs! Give him something to live for, be a bit more humane.

(Leighton buzzard, 2017-01-24)

#3890

There is no need for this type of action by the council it is bad enough he is homeless let alone destroy 2 dogs for no good reason, it's disgusting!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3894

This poor guy hasn't got much , so please don't take away the only two sources of love and contact that he does have.

(Nottingham, 2017-01-24)

#3902

I'm signing because whilst I know not all the facts I want Bitsy & Floyd to remain together as I have never seen the dog act viciously. Has the accusation been verified?

(Peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#3903

This is so cruel to take away Man's best friend who is his faithful companion for obviously no just reason. Wouldn't it be better to help him find a warm home to live in peace with his animals!!

(Spalding, 2017-01-24)

#3904

The homeless have been targeted enough. No one deserves to have this especially someone who has nothing.

(Bridgend , 2017-01-24)

#3906

l have walked passed the dog loads of times not once has that dog even barked at me

(peterbouorgh, 2017-01-24)

#3907

I've approached and petted the dogs on many occasions without a single sign of aggression!! I work with dogs on a daily basis so would recognise body language if they were at all aggressive! No need to destroy these harmless companions!!!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3909

These dogs are not out of control I walk past them very often and stop to talk to Eddie and I have never seen this dog do any harm

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

(Peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#3918

There shouldn't be any homeless in thus day & age.. if he had a home he could keep his dogs.. have a heart they're his life, his family & hus best friends..

(Northamptonshire, 2017-01-24)

#3919

(Lincolnshire , 2017-01-24)

#3921

I walk past this guy and his dog every day. Have done for years and have never had or heard of any issues from either. Leave the guy and his dog alone!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#3923

This man has nothing. Use the resources and money taking this man to court to catch and prosecute so real criminals.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#3924

We've seen this guy and his dog. There's no issue at all he upsets no-one. This is wrong!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3934

I spend a lot of time in Peterborough and have never seen this dog be vicious in any way.
If the owner is getting aggressively moved on by who ever, is it classed as vicious if a dog were to protect his owner ?? Is that not what dogs are for to watch your back as you would do for any animal, family or friend.
What you need to be doing is looking at the agenda of the complainers.

(Ravenfield, 2017-01-24)

#3936

It's deplorable way to treat somebody and there dogs

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3939

(Frome, 2017-01-24)

#3940

I don't want to see these poor dogs put down. You can't do that to this man, he's going to be heartbroken! Leave them all alone!!!!

(Tadworth, 2017-01-24)

#3941

these dogs are pets and without them this man will be overwhelmed with grief. What evidence do you have of his dogs bein dangerous??? Ensure by visiting him and his dogs not just listening to some??

(Carmarthen, 2017-01-24)

#3944

Homeless have lost enough already. Don't take their pets too

(StAustell, 2017-01-24)

#3945

Homeless people and their dogs are vilified by society when we should help them.

(Coventry, 2017-01-24)

#3946

I talk to this guy when i see him and pet his dog, And the dog is apsoulutey no threat, And is a very approachable dog

(Chatteris, 2017-01-24)

#3947

Because this gentleman does not need to be hauled into court he needs to be hauled into our hearts and loved

(Milltown , 2017-01-24)

#3957

I have met and fed Eddie and his dog when I lived there and the dog is kind and the only companion for Eddie. Its family to him.
Leave the poor man alone, he has little as it is.
Shame on the council

#3959

This dog is not a nasty dog this man has done nothing wrong

(March, 2017-01-24)

#3988

This man needs support and to murder his dogs is beyond belief. The bodies making this decision are the vicious ones.

(HERTFORDSHIRE, 2017-01-24)

#3989

I'm signing this petition because these dogs are Eddie's lifeline, his world. It would be so disgraceful if anyone destroyed these dogs - they are no harm to anyone if managed correctly which Eddie does. I always go over and sit with him and his dogs without any issues.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3993

We need to join together and help .

(Peterborough , 2017-01-24)

#3996

This is wasteful of tax payers money as I have seen the dog many of times and it has never shown any signs of being nasty I have even seen in on the bus and it is friendly and so is the owner you need to put the money into rehousting all the homeless people that are appearing on the streets of Peterborough by finding them a bed and giving them food instead we are suppose to be a dog loving nation so have some heart and stop wasting time and money on a stupid accusation

(peterborough, 2017-01-24)

#4000

I know this animal and the man. No way is this dog vicious - Leave him alone. This is not about the dogs its about the council not winning and wanting the last word. Do not let the dogs die because of this stupid vendetta against Eddie because he does not conform.

(PETERBOROUGH, 2017-01-24)
