We want this sentence overturned and a harsher penalty given

Our justice system is a joke. This case needs to be looked out and the sentence changed

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#208

The verdict is wrong. He should be given an appropriate sentence to the crime! Not a slap on the wrist!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#213

This punishment is ludicrous.... and an insult to the victim and her family.

(Willunga, 2017-06-16)

#214

What a joke, this poor lady lost her life, her family lost a mother and wife and the person who did this basically gets a smack on the wrist, this sentence needs to be overturned and a harsher penalty given

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#215

This is horrible! this family is shattered and this man can be free in months. where is the justice?

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#222

Because it's the right thing to do.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#225

its a joke sentence him as an adult to at least 25 years with no parole justice system is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#228

He needs to be accountable for his actions. Its time we protected the victims not the criminals.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#230

Im signing because that is not justice!!! because of him a whole family suffers for the rest of their lives! Especially the children

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#231

This is absolutely not acceptable, this sentence is ridiculous. This person was taken away from her family by a very irresponsible act. I was so angred by this.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#234

The justice system is letting us all down and losing all out trust in them. They are meant to make us feel safer when something happens, it's no wonder so many people don't report crimes as much as they used to, and it's the reason there are so many little shits thinking they can do what they like and not have to deal with any consequences

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#235

It's a total disgrace

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#238

The sentence is simply not enough that poor lady's family friends not good

(South austraila, 2017-06-16)

#245

Disgusting that they can get away with this

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#247

Life for a life. Selfish person who has no regard for human life and doesn't care the result if his carelessness. A sad day.

(Happy Valley, 2017-06-16)

#249

Do the crime you pay the time!! No matter how old you are..pay the consequences for your bad "Choices"..

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#255

This is a shamefully short sentance. His upbringing is completely irrelevant, he still knows right from wrong. He knows stealing a car is illegal, he knows speeding is illegal. He knows killing this poor woman was illegal, yet after he did so he still boasted to the media that 'they cant do anything to me, im under age'. Please dont prove him right. A harsher penalty must be served.

(seaford rise, 2017-06-16)

#257

Our law or lack thereof is pathetic why don't I go on a rampage and run over a few people 3 years in jail would be worth it how would anyone in the judicial system feel were it their child mother daughter

(Ingham, 2017-06-16)

#258

the courts are weak as water on aboriginal youth offenders.

(adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#267

This is disgusting 18 months for what?! For him to sit there and do nothing and enjoy still being alive whilst this mother has now been taking from this world way too soon!! He knew what he was doing driving that car!! Life for a life it's only fair wether his 15 or not!!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#269

Its time that the punishment fit the crime....this offender has ahown no remorse for this crime and because of this ridiculously lenient sentence, will obviously not be deterred from re-offending

(Salisbury north , 2017-06-16)

#271

Just because a child has done this to a inocient mother don't give him the right to a slap on the wrist for his stupidity. If it was this judges family it would all be bloody different. GIVE THE FAMILY SOME PIECE AND CHARGE HIM PROPERLY. HE MURDERED HER. stuffed her kids life's up. Made a family suffer this system we live on is corrupt JUSTICE BE SERVED

(Goolwa, 2017-06-16)

#272

This is heartless and disrespectful to Nicole and her family and life time friends. He will come out and not care and probably never get a license because he has learnt and not learnt anything as a young adolescent out of control with no show of remorse.
I know people who haven't killed another person and are in jail !!
The system needs to be over looked and this sentence be re considered
Thanku
RIP NICOLE XX

(Flagstaff hill , 2017-06-16)

#273

It's a disgrace, that poor family deserve justice. This was a kick in the teeth for them. That boy needs to learn a lesson but this is definitely no deterrent.!!

(Elizabeth, 2017-06-16)

#274

There is little discouragement with such a lenient sentence

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#276

The penalty for these two offending teens is unjust. They should be punished heavier.

(Aberfoyle park , 2017-06-16)

#281

Our legal system is a joke! We need real penalties to hopefully make people think twice before getting in their cars and driving carelessly.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#282

He is old enough to know what he was doing... He's old enough to pay the consequences

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#286

I know the responders to this fatal. I know the kid involved. I know that if it were my family member I would be devasted with the reduced penalty. Makes it seem her life was worth nothing.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#288

The poor womans family must suffer for the rest of their lives without their respective loved one so the boy shouldnt be able to be free for his life time. He shouldnt be able to enjoy his life anymore because her family can not.

(Murray Bridge, 2017-06-16)

#291

Through criminal planned actions he killed an innocent woman robbing her family of her life and depriving her of being with them.
The period of time given as punishment is laughable. Many get more for much less of a crime. This needs to be fixed and a proper sentence imposed

(Morphett Vale , 2017-06-16)

#296

The justice system is a joke this is why teenagers do this shit because they know they will just get a slap on the bloody wrist bring back the death penalty he took somebody else's life he deserves his life taken

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#299

He should get a longer sentence.. like her family has.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#300

Disgusting Human Life only worth 18 mths

(Seaford Rise, 2017-06-16)

#303

We need harsher sentencing for people who kill others with their hoon driving. Our justice system is a joke.

(Goolwa, 2017-06-16)

#304

Its not long enough he took someones mum ,wife and family member they have to live forever without her for this kids selfish stupidity the laws need to be much tougher on the teenagers tgey know right from wrong and have choosen the wrong so should be punished for it

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#305

A life was taken, therefore the punishment needs to be more severe.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#307

I fear for my society. Where is the deterrence. He and others like him will do this again because there are no severe enough consequences for his actions. The "Justice System" fails the majority and favours the minority. What the decision has made clear is that the poor lady's life was not relevant enough to warrant her killer being given a decent sentence. We will spend tax payers money in an attempt to rehabilitate for him to be released only to steal from and possibly harm or kill another person who has contributed to his re-hab. WOW, not my Idea of justice.

(Woodcroft, 2017-06-16)

#308

The justice system has got it wrong AGAIN. Were is the justice for this family? They are now living with the life sentence that the system failed to apply. When will the system get it right? Let's hope this petition will get justice for this family.

(Christies Beach, 2017-06-16)

#309

I have never heard such a stupid sentence. Only the other week malcom turnball complained that a possible terrorist had been let out to possibly reoffend. This person didn't and shouldn't of had a drivers licence.. that didn't stop him. As uf being banned from having a license for 10 years is going to make a difference. Lock him up PROPERLY. Sack the judge who made this sentence. A totally out of touch idiot

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#310

This is disgusting. As a mother myself and this little flog taking a mother away from her children is apauling. He will never understand the torture her husband and children will go through everyday because of his background.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#313

This happened in my home town..and everytime i drive at that spot she died i feel for her family.. her life was worth more than 3 and 1/2years he got... and he shows no remorse. ..

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#318

Sentence does not fit the crime.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#319

This poor family, this kid killed someone in the worse possible way! Do the crime and you should do the time! Judges need to be a lot harsher with these crimes to show others they will not get away with it! Disgusting to say the least

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#320

Im signinging this because this could have been me if it was 2 sec earlier and he deserves longer

(Seaford, 2017-06-16)

#321

Our justice system is a joke these wankers commit crimes and know that they get a slap on the wrist enough is enough a life for a life!!

(Mount Compass, 2017-06-16)

#322

Our justice system is and has always been so so weak. It's about it time we started protecting the innocent and law abiding citizens.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#323

The sentence handed down was ridiculous. . A life was lost and a slap on the wrist was given for the crime.. yes it was a crime and so was the penalty given!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#325

We need stricter punishment for youth and people who reclously break laws

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#326

Not a harsh enough penalty for such an awful crime.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#328

the courts need to be harsher on these repetitive offenders regardless of age or excuses (being a guardianship kid). the world is screwed with court systems handing out slaps on the wrist like this. I feel for the emergency services that had to witness this scene and also track down the offenders to then see such a poor outcome as a result.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#330

The sentence imposed is not good enough for the crime he committed!!

(Andrews Farm , 2017-06-16)

#331

I believe our justice system is not good enough. If we had harsher punishments it may stop people from doing the wrong thing. Instead a person can kill another person and only get a couple years nail with the chance at parole in 10 months. If a 16 year old wants to act like an adult so work drive a car then they should be trialed as an adult. There needs to be justice for the victims and for those that are effected by the crimes instead of the justice going in favour of the criminal.

(Adelaife, 2017-06-16)

#333

The laws need to be reviewed!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#334

Grossley light sentance

(Old Reynella, 2017-06-16)

#337

He deserves to be in jail longer. No one that kills anyone should only be in jail for such a short amount of time.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#339

I cant believe the system I went to school with Nicole lovely person, she didnt deserve this, she was doing her usual thing being a mum, minding her own business and in a blink of an eye she was killed by 2 idiot children. It doesnt matter about their up bringing her how about respect for someone elses life. This kid will do it again and again maybe next time it could be one of us....

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#340

I think he should get a harder punishment as he killed a lady that was innocent through his stupidity

(Two wells, 2017-06-16)

#347

A repeat offender who took an innocent life . Heartbroken for this family .

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#351

N.martin

(Roxbydowns, 2017-06-16)

#352

This sentence gives no weight to the impact on those left behind and gives too much consideration for the wellbeing of the murderer who will never be rehabilitated

(McLaren Vale, 2017-06-16)

#355

I'm sick and tired of people getting away with things like. A family lost their Mother/Wife. He thought it was fun to steal to spead. He needs to pay the consequences for killing an innocent person.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#359

The justice for this crime is horrifying. Do you think he won't steal a car and drive like a maniac again. Nicole's family would be devestated, as I was. It is about time the justice system gives appropriate sentences. Although nothing will bring back this beautiful lady (I did not know her personally) common justic system get your act together before someone else gets killed. He is not going to change

(AdelIde, 2017-06-16)

#369

This is just shocking they killed an innocent person and when there out they will do it again then wat another life taken put the money away for life teach them a lesson or they will keep doin it cause they have got away with it

(Christies beach , 2017-06-16)

#370

its an injustice to the woman and her family. he gets to have a life while the woman has lost her life and her family never see her again. Plus what does this say to other youths. They will all think they can steal and murder some one and they only get 10 mths. It is so wrong he should be behind bars for life.

(Christie Downs, 2017-06-16)

#372

Sick and tired of the stupidity of these idiots getting away with crimes like this. An innocent life was taken and the family now has to suffer through not having a wife, mother, sister etc due to a 15 year old killing her in this horrible crash. Mental illness or not send him to jail now

(Adelaide, 2017-06-16)

#376

The courts have just given the youth of today the green light to steal cars kill someone because they now know within a year their out but a family is the only one given a life's sentence it's bull shit

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#381

This scum bag deserves a much harsher sentence

(Lonsdale , 2017-06-16)

#384

This sentence in ridiculously short

(Adelaide , 2017-06-16)

#385

Nicole was a friend her kids j looked after at oshc for years taught her daughter dance then I had kids they babysat and still help me they r a gorgeous family and Nicole was such a caring mum she was always helping I remember my last conversation with her again all about her kids this whole thing is sick I'm sorry but I believe in sapol and what u do but here u made a big mistake why were they not stopped on express way let them crash and die what happened to Nicole was so painful for me so for her kids my god that funeral was raw didn't feel real cause we knew she wasn't in that coffin cause there was nothing left and I'm sorry but dreaming of ur friend banging on a window they trapped with their car to run away they could have saved her I hope they rot in hell or someone pays the money to put a hit on them about 2500 is apparently the go. I'm singing this for Gemma Corey and the dogs because I love them and because Nicole would sign this for me

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#386

Disgraceful descision.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#388

The justice system needs to give a penalty yo fit the crime

(Whyalla, 2017-06-17)

#389

There needs to be a deterrent or people will keep doing this. Maximum penalties are needed to be given and not overturned

(Gladstone , 2017-06-17)

#390

Nicole and her family deserves justice

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#392

Nicole was a friend of my sister's and this sentence .. quite frankly is a JOKE!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#396

The justice system has failed. The public need to be protected against this person. He will reoffend - & already he has killed someone. How many more lives ruined before justice us served?

(Drouin , 2017-06-17)

#397

THE sentence is way too light for murder

(Colonel Light Gardens , 2017-06-17)

#398

The judicial system is a joke! This pathetic sentence does not match the crime

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)
