Im am appauled at the decision, not o ly in this case but in most death by dangerous driving cases. There is no jail time and if there is it is only an insignificant amount.

How is taking someones life treated woth such a small punishment?

How is it that now her husband and children can never see their wife/mother again and the little ******* gets a bullshit sentence because he "had a hard time growing up".

The justice system in this state is a joke at best and I for one am sicl to death of these little muppets getting away with murder (figuratively and literally)

Take one moment and think of the victims, do they get their mother back?
Do any of the other victims to these type of crimes get their family back?
Do they get to eat breakfast with their mum in 10 months time?
No, they get to mourn her loss while this little shit walks free and most likely commits another crime because "he's had it tough and hasn't learnt whats right n wrong".

Appauled

This is absolutely disgusting. A woman has died and he gets a slap on the wrist. Very poor!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#408

It's disgusting! Once he's out what will he be capable next? This ladies family have been served a life sentence so should he.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#410

The justice system is broken. This is merely a slap on the wrist. Irs appauling really that system continually protects the wrong people.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#411

Im signing because the justice system is a joke!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#415

Justice is needed for this family!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#419

As a witness to this careless and reckless driver who passed My fiancé and I at high speed, to then witness the horror accident that he caused while feeling utterly helpless as this poor women's car was so engulfed in flames to assist. To then find out the cowards in the car ran for themselves from this scene while we were forced to watch in horror. I encourage everyone to sign. There has to be change, this can't happen to another person.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#423

No justice served for that poor mother who has lost her life and no consiquence near enough for the petpitrator of the cause.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#424

Justice needs to be done !

(Flagstaff Hill, 2017-06-17)

#425

Coz i feel that this guy should of got a harder sentence coz he killed a innocent person by his stupidity actions and he deserves more than what he was given

(Hackham west , 2017-06-17)

#426

The penalty is far too lenient.

(Brisbane, 2017-06-17)

#427

I'm signing because we need harsher penalties for crimes to act as deterrents especially for young offenders

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#433

its an outrage

(adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#437

The youths should b jailed 4 life with muder

(Adela delaide, 2017-06-17)

#439

Its so wrong these peope need to be held more accountable for their actions.until it changes it will continue

(Mount Gambier, 2017-06-17)

#443

I can't believe the justice system was so lenient, it's a joke. So sorry for the family and friends they received no justice at all

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#444

This sentence is ridiculous

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#451

Australia needs to wake up.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#452

A message needs to be sent to all people that is not acceptable

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#455

This lady and her family deserve justice. The justice system have failed miserably with this joke of a sentence. Her life was worth so much more than this come on you owe her family and society in general to make this right.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#457

It's just not enough deterant for other young offenders.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#459

This sends a bad message to the youth of today, that they can basically get away with murder. 18 months is NO deterent for somebody like this, they will just do it again, and we will be asking ourselves why we let him out to do it again. This woman's family has a life sentence and so should he. Get real!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#461

Our laws and courts need to pull their finger out.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#462

The sentence is far too lenient.

(Highbury, 2017-06-17)

#463

Please provide us with punishments that will restore our faith in the justice system, serve as a deterrent for criminals, help to protect our community and back up the work of the police who are on the front line.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#464

Because he was on bail while committing these crimes so he didn't care about breaking the law anyway and a soft sentence won't deter him from breaking the law next time

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#466

This sentence is much too lenient. He has never shown remorse. Bet it would have been longer if the person killed was a member of the judges family!

(Morphett vale, 2017-06-17)

#468

It's time we got harsher penalties for these crimes/murders to make them hopefully think twice about their actions and maybe prevent further innocent people losing their lives....stop failing the victims and their families!!!!!!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#472

He/they should be tried as adults and treated with no regard , as they think that they both are getting away with it . No mercy should be shown.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#475

That sentence was a joke and an insult to her family. Shame on the justice system.

(Balaklava , 2017-06-17)

#477

This is far to lenient. I am all for rehabilitation but this will not be a deterrent to others.

(Pennington, 2017-06-17)

#480

Although everyone deserves a second chance. This sentence is an insult to the loved ones of this poor lady. Extend his sentence by several years.

(Waikerie, 2017-06-17)

#486

He knew what he was doing when he got in that car and drove it almost double the speed limit down the expressway! He has no respect for the law.
He made that decision and he should have to pay the consequences for his actions.
Use this as an example the others!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#490

This is just ridiculous. The law courts are getting soft on our offenders. It's time to stand up and make the offenders face the consequences.

(Williamstown, 2017-06-17)

#491

The law must change.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#493

The sentences imposed by the SA and also Australian judicial system is an absolute joke. How dare he get out in 10 months when he is a repeat offender who took children's mother away. Appalling.

(Kadina, 2017-06-17)

#494

I am disgusted that the life of a wife, mother and friends is worth so little in our justice system. I do not believe this is a deterrent for others who would chose to drive so dangerously.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#495

Because justice has not been served

(Enfield , 2017-06-17)

#504

I think this sentence is to light for him he kiĺled a woman just minding her own business i think he should be locked up for a minimum of 20 years. The family of the poor woman are never gonna get her back so why does he deserve a life

(Murray Bridge, 2017-06-17)

#505

More needs to be done to stop this happening. The crminals are laughing at our judicial system.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#507

This justice systems is so bad!

(Brisbane , 2017-06-17)

#508

This kid killed someone and destroyed a family the law needs to make him accountable

(Willunga, 2017-06-17)

#511

I have too because someone has made the correct decision.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#513

SHOW THE YOUTH OF TODAY THAT YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#515

Sentence does not fit the crime

(Happy valley, 2017-06-17)

#518

It's an absolute slap in the face for law. abiding Australians. The law and judiciary system is a joke weighted towards the multiple offending criminal..Where is the justice for innocent victims!!!! Outrageous John Ray Jay Weatherill and Judge Tracey. Hang your heads in shame and when he gets out in 10 months and kills someone else you three should be charged with criminal negligence Imagine if it was your child!!!!!!!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#520

This is a repeat offender and must be gaoled for murder

(Hackham West , 2017-06-17)

#523

Scum deserves to rot

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#526

I am Nicole Tucker's cousin

(adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#528

I am disgusted with the justice system. This woman's life was not worth anything by this courts ruling.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#532

Not appropriate sentence

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#536

This is not justice. Where is the justice the family and robbed them of their mum, daughter, aunt, sister, wife ??????

(Happy Valley , 2017-06-17)

#538

I care about safety on our roads

(South Plympton, 2017-06-17)

#544

I believe that murder should require a much harser penalty, no matter your age we all know murder is wrong .

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#545

The sentence is disgusting for murdering an innocent woman.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#546

Where is the JUSTICE for the family? ??

(Lewiston , 2017-06-17)

#550

This sentence is a joke. The poor lady's family get a sentence for life.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#552

It's not fair

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#553

I'm signing because he don't deserve to be free

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#554

This sentence is pathetic. He will re offend and what then?

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#559

While I see no reason to ruin another life by institutionalising a child for the rest of their life with no chance of reform, I certainly don't thing the sentence issued represents the crime and circumstances

(Hallett Cove, 2017-06-17)

#561

I'm disgusted at the leniency shown. How can you allow someone to go virtualy unpunished after such an appalling act.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#563

I"m signing because I know first hand the effect that this has had on people involved and it's horrifying!!! Their lives have been changed forever having to try to live with a 'new normal' that they had no control over. They have to live with nightmares, the loss of a most loved one and physical pain, just to name a few things. All of these things will never go away...all of these things will give them pain (both physical and mental) for the rest of their living days. It has not only affected the direct people involved but all of their families and friends. You really have to understand the impact not only on the people involved but also their family and friends. This boy made a choice and he chose to steal and drive unlicenced and at great speed. This is not justice at all!!! I am appalled. I am saddened for the fact that their is no support for the victims here from our justice system.

(Coromandel Valley, 2017-06-17)

#565

Nicole Tucker was a very dear friend of mine

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#566

The boy who did this deserves a much harsher sentence. He stolw a car whilst on parole had no licence and killed a woman!! Her family deserve justice with a sentence applicable to his crimes.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#568

The Justice System needs a big shake up, and the poor woman's life was worth far more than this so called Sentence.

(Lockleys, 2017-06-17)

#569

The laws and penalties in this country are too soft.

(Glenelg, 2017-06-17)

#570

Our legal system is disgusting! Overturn the ruling and give the shit a deserving sentence.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#573

I'm signing because the sentence is far too lenient. He stole a car and killed someone and was underage!

(Leicester, 2017-06-17)

#574

Killing is taking some ones life away.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#582

This sentence is manifestly inadequate. No defendant in this situation can claim they didn't know this could happen given the coverage of similae instances in the paat. This was not an accident. This was a foreseeable oitcome from his actions even fir a 'child'. For these reasons the sentence should reflect the adult outcomes.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#584

This is an outrageously poor decision given the horrific death of an incident mum and wife by a despicable youth with a history of criminal behaviour. He should be severely punished. Poor childhood or not, old enough to no right from wrong. Time for our courts and JUDGES to sentence appropriately. Maybe it's the people elect our judges.

(Flagstaff Hill, 2017-06-17)

#588

Penalty does not fit the crime. He needs to be serve a lot longer than that

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#589

He should be remanded in custody until he turns 18 then try him as an adult....

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#590

This is just garbage. The judiciary is so out of touch it is disgusting. How is this any kind of deterrent?

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#594

Justice needs to be served to this poor family & we cannot let this continue.
What does this show for our youth of today?
Unfortunately society is being forced to take the law into there own hands, when sentencing like this is being dished out.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#595

I know the victim's family

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#596

Bad childhood or not, at 15 you know what is right and what is wrong, you know that stealing is wrong and you know that killing is wrong. Make the punishment fit the crime! Murder is murder.

(Sheidow Park, 2017-06-17)
