These young ones need to learn, adult crime = adult time

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#604

A family is destroyed and he only gets 10 months? That's disgusting. Hang your heads in shame.

(Victor Harbor , 2017-06-17)

#605

The sentence is wrong

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#606

This is so disrespectful to the family and loved ones.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#611

Disgraceful sentence given. This poor family should not have to be punished again while he walks free.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#612

Our justice system does not deliver justice and the Judges do not judge of their own moral beliefs. A life for a life- lock them up for life! Crowded jails? Good, make it a hard life as they have done to others by their actions.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#613

if an adult driver was driving at 200km on his own and killed an innocent person and showed remorse, they would serve a much larger penalty. Even if it was a stupid mistake.
The fact that these kids had already committed a serious crime by stealing the car, then killing that helpless woman and showing no immediate remorse, and saying "I'll get off, I'm a kid" shows how weak our legal system is. What's worse, is that a delinquent juvenile knows how to get around it. For the poor woman and her family's sake. I think he deserves well over 10 years

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#616

Justice has not been served for his actions

(Adelaide, 2017-06-17)

#619

Our legal system is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Judges are so out of touch with the communities they are meant to represent. We see so so so many avoidable and horrific crimes committed by reoffenders. That doesn't just suggest our legal system isn't working. It screams out that our legal system is a mess. No more innocent lives lost.

(Mawson Lakes, 2017-06-17)

#620

I can't believe this teen took a life of any innocent mother and there are 2 kids that have to suffer this for the rest of their lives. And the courts give this teen basically nothing Im disgusted. I also lost a sister to someone driving like an idiot and she also got nothing. The laws on this need to change and change now

(Adelaide , 2017-06-17)

#628

10 months is ridiculous, for taking someone's life.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#629

The sentence is so wrong this little piece of shit needs life!! You take a life you get life in my eyes. Our justice system is so wrong.

(Seaford Rise , 2017-06-18)

#631

our justice system is a joke and judge Joanne Tracy should be reprimanded for such actions

(old noarlunga, 2017-06-18)

#632

The sentence he has been given is an insult to the family who's life will never be the same My heart goes out to them

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#638

This crime has multiple layers, the respondent has a long history of law breaking and this outcome was horrific and beyond recasting for this so and poor family. It's not revenge its justice that is required.

(Paralowie, 2017-06-18)

#639

Because the sentence is manifestly wrong. He iwas old enough to do the crime. At 15 he knew stealing a car was WRONG. Throw away the key. He should be in jail for as long as the family of his victim will be grieving. Nothing less.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#640

Lost my two and only children to road trauma, driver was given a poultry suspended sentence! Our laws have long needed overhauling to reflect the devastation of the crime.

(Kadina, 2017-06-18)

#644

A youth has his full life ahead of him. The family of the deceased have a lifetime of pain and sorrow ahead of him.

(Mclaren Vale , 2017-06-18)

#646

This is the biggest injustice, wake up government and the laws of this country need to be changed!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#654

Our sentencing system needs to equal the crime!!!!

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#656

No life should only be worth a few years behind "bars". Young people are not scared of the law and does not care about the consequences of their actions because they get away with a light tap over the knuckles. Please start thinking about the victims and their families.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#660

Our justice system is a disgrace! The penalty rarely fits the crime & innocent victims & families are the ones who are punished.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#661

He shouldn't be allowed to have an opportunity to do this to another family. You kill someone it's murder.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#664

I don't know if it's because the Judge in question has poor judgement, or if their hands were tied due to the underlying laws ... but giving this kid 10 months for robbing an innocent family of a mother, wife, sister, daughter, auntie and cousin ... it's just disgusting.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#667

Taking of a Life needs harsher punishment especially when No remorse is shown.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#668

It is disgusting that the courts think Nicoles life is worth s mere 10 months. These little buggers knew exactly what they were doing.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#670

Weak sentencing for an awful crime

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#671

This is a total miscarriage of justice for this woman's life being taken in such a way. He should rot in jail.

(Aberfoyle Park , 2017-06-18)

#673

It could have been an innocent - myself included - leaving behind loved ones and with a long life ahead.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#677

This is not justice or incentive to not reoffend

(Seaford , 2017-06-18)

#680

This sentence is appalling and a huge slap in the face to the victim's family.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#681

I believe that the taking of life needs to have more severe consequences.

(Yorketown , 2017-06-18)

#682

Because poor innocent Nicole Tucker and her family deserve proper justice...& the sentence given is a complete farce! People who are charged with petty theft often get a much longer sentence than this youth received. Make the sentence suit the crime!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#683

Very strong feeling and knowing to many people that have lost loved ones with no justice.

(Modbury Hieghts, 2017-06-18)

#685

Unbelivable .So sad for the family and friends of this lady who died. Were is justice. This young person has no remorse. The law needs to be tough and make people be do the time for the crime.

(Morphett Vale, 2017-06-18)

#687

The justice system today is a joke - it has to change

(Adelside, 2017-06-18)

#688

think its time the courts made people realise they have to pay for things they do and not just a slap the wrist this a life they have taken

(Adelaide, 2017-06-18)

#693

I think this is disgusting. A woman list her life because of some feral on a joy ride

(Adelaide , 2017-06-18)

#699

Grossly inadequate. I would not feel safe driving my children around knowing this little mongrel could be nearby. What about justice for the family! This is like the Nemer case all over again :(

(Woodcroft , 2017-06-19)

#700

He stole a car pleaded guilty to causing Nicole's death and that is all he gets. The sentencing of these juveniles in this country are pathetic and is why we are having the problems that we have now. Enough is enough.

(Darwin, 2017-06-19)

#708

Judges are far too lenient and offenders of this type need to be accountable

(Adelaide , 2017-06-19)

#711

I'm signing this petition because I don't agree with the sentencing, it is too lenient for such a tragic incident.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-19)

#713

The judiciary are totally out of touch with reality. The victims rights need to be more important than the perpetrator.

(Adelaide , 2017-06-19)

#714

This is not showing other kids that breaking the law will not get you punished, this is just a couple of years hindrance to there pothetic lives, what will his future be

(adelaide, 2017-06-19)

#716

This was a horrific & deliberate! This oxygen thief needs to be incarcerated for life!!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-19)

#717

This sentence is ridiculas and makes a mockery of human life

(Grange, 2017-06-19)

#719

He should get life. For doing what he done. You do the crime you do the time. He shhould be treaed like an adult.

(Strathalbyn , 2017-06-19)

#721

Our justice system keeps failing the innocent

(Adelaide, 2017-06-19)

#724

This is disgraceful!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-19)

#727

Sentences such as this are not deterrents.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-20)

#729

This sentence is a joke, wait and see when he gets out

(Adelaide, 2017-06-20)

#730

The time does not fit the crime.

(Aberfoyle Park, 2017-06-20)

#736

He was acting like an adult, should be treated like one. No remorse or respect for the law, or what he has done. Justice system is an absolute joke!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#739

Our justice system is pathetic and very wrong as it always works in favour of the criminal and no one else.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#740

Stole a car, (should have been behind the wheel) previous offences and Murdered an innocent.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#742

There is NO justice in this sentence! There are some people who are just bad to the core & can't be rehabilitated. One strike, two strikes....how many more chances is this twit going to be given to ruin MORE innocent lives??

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#743

That sentence is a joke. If it was the judges loved one, the sentence would be longer I'm sure.. This kid needs to be taught a lesson. Tried as an adult? So an adult will only get that sentence too? The sentence alone is a joke.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#744

Justice considers the impacts not the perpetrator who chose the action

(Adelaide, 2017-06-21)

#747

Enough is enough and it's time our judges did their jobs properly. If this is how the law works then the law should be changed

(Aberfoyle Park, 2017-06-21)

#749

This sentence is disgusting. It's a slap on the wrist. A woman lost her life and another was injured. Time to get tough and get these ferals off off our streets.

(Adelaide, 2017-06-22)

#751

Sick of judges excusing poor upbringing and releasing re offenders to harm others. This sentence does not do the victims justice or protect others.

(Christies Beach, 2017-06-23)

#753

It's an outrageous injustice to all the law abiding citizens. You the judiciary are supposed to protect us and not favour the criminals !!!!!!

(Adelaide, 2017-06-24)

#761

Justice wasn't served

(Adelaide , 2017-07-01)

#765

The sentencing system is a disgrace

(Adelaide , 2017-07-04)

#766

I'm a close friend of Nicole's daughter, and was very close to Nicole and the rest of her family and seen the toll that the justice setenced has taken on the tucker family.

(Adelaide , 2017-07-04)

#778

With such a pitiful sentence to begin with, how on earth did they think that this kid deserved parole in the first place? How about a 20 year sentence with a 10 year non-parole period. It doesn't come close to taking a life, but is at least closer to being an appropriate punishment level. Where does this precedent display any form of deterring future/repeat offenders?!

(Adelaide, 2017-07-04)

#779

The Penalty given is a joke, things need to change, a life has been taken.

(Adelaide, 2017-07-04)

#780

This is an absolute disgrace. Judges need to start listening to what the general public wants in terms of harsher penalties for such heinous crimes!

(Adelaide , 2017-07-06)
