The town has very little if any amenities for young children and toddlers to go and enjoy themselves please reconsider

Deborah Mitchell (Hemel hempstead, 2019-08-08)

#202

I want the cafe to stay

Reetika Suri (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#204

This is a well used and popular cafe for tenants of the business park and visitors. There is no factual evidence to show tgat visitors are causing additional parking issues in Brook St.

Keith Delderfield (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#206

Great for the local children much needed

Jennifer Stephanie (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#207

This cafe is used by many families in our community. It is unique and a great source of pleasure for all those who visit. It meets the needs of many young families and parking should not be an issue.

Fay Copestake (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#208

It's a fantastic cafe with great facilities for parents to get together while their children play safetly.

Sharon Berry (Aylesbury, 2019-08-08)

#209

I want this cafe to stay open!

Kate Davis (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#210

I’m signing because I strongly believe there should be such a cafe in Tring for the local community.

Catherine Ham (Cheddington, 2019-08-08)

#211

Doodle Caboodle is such a lovely play cafe and an asset to the community. Parenting can be very lonely and at times the cafe has been a really lifeline to me with the little ones.

Liz Keenaghan-Clark (Berkhamsted, 2019-08-08)

#213

Lovely cafe for parents of young children to meet

Jodie Mcewen (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#214

It would be a shame for it to go the kids enjoy it

Mark Johnson (Pitstone, 2019-08-08)

#215

There is nothing like this in Tring for the locals. If this location is closed I believe the Council should provide a better facility for the company to operate from.

Catherine Steward (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#216

This is a well-run and much-needed facility in the area

Beca Shortt (Abbots Langley, 2019-08-08)

#217

I’m signing because I support this great local business. It’s not the fault of the cafe that some people are stupid enough to park dangerously.

Alison Prall (Pitstone , 2019-08-08)

#218

We need to encourage small family businesses like this cafe which is a thriving family hub.

yvonne brown (pitstone, 2019-08-08)

#219

This is a fabulous facility for tring and brings people and children together! A much needed facility for the area and car parking as a justification to close is not acceptable! Plenty of us walk there and or park a distance away and get some exercise pushing in. To prevent parents from engaging in the wider community through this facility is really short sited and shameful.

Keep it open and think differently about parking and local transport in the area!

Carina Keen (Pitstone , 2019-08-08)

#220

This cafe is in walking distance of many families with young children in tring.

Nicola Long (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#221

We visit the cafe very often and as a new mum to 2 under 3 it was my lifeline for a long time as I could easily pop down on a good day. The cafe is more than just a cafe it’s a social place to find friends and meet ones you already have.

Amy Jordan (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#222

This is a wonderful cafe and place to relax knowing your children can also have fun. No where else like it.

Karen Mckenzie (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-08)

#224

I’m signing because it is a worthy business contributing positively to Tring

John Osborne (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#225

Doodle Caboodlr provides a safe place for families and their children of Tring and surrounding areas. Losing this place, means these communities loose out

Eleanor Martin (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#226

I want doodle caboodle to stay open it’s a great place for parents and children.

Sophie Needham (Leighton Buzzard , 2019-08-08)

#227

It's a genuine lovely safe place for meet ups with other mums, or on your own with soft play & cafe options. I love the fact it's not a chain, feels personal. It would be sad to see it go.

Carolyn Knowles (Hertfordshire , 2019-08-08)

#228

The cafe is well needed in the area and my daughter enjoys coming here.

Jessica Ryan (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#229

It’s a fab place to take kids, would be a huge shame for it to not be there.

Emma Unwin (Hp23 5ba, 2019-08-08)

#230

We want to save the cafe

Clare Anderson (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#232

I’m a local and we need facilities like this

Philippa Baker (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#233

This place is unique and brings people to Tring. You’d be doing young families a disservice by allowing this fantastic facility.

Help find a solution to the parking problem rather than just shutting place down!

Olivia Collins (Milton keynes, 2019-08-08)

#234

This business fills a much needed gap in Tring and the allegations around parking are ridiculous. There are several businesses in Silk Mill attributable to this issue.

Rebecca Brown (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#235

I am signing somany children do not lose a place where they are happy

Teela Hillard (Watford, 2019-08-08)

#236

this is a highly used, well run cafe that people want.

Sonya Hardy (Wingrave, 2019-08-08)

#237

I have lived in tring all my life there has always been a problem with brook street .

Edward Waring (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#238

This a fantastic little venue to have a drink & let young ones play where you cal always see what they are up to.
There is parking on site for people to use.
Parking on streets in surrounding areas could be by people visiting the town or other businesses without sufficient evidence you can not say they are purely related to the café.
Victoria Hall is in a small street & provides very little parking opposite but so can create dangerous parking at times but this has never been an issue!

Clare Workman (Hemel Hempstead, 2019-08-08)

#239

The benefits of such a facility in Tring is immeasurable.

Peter Leighton-Murray (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#241

I believe this business brings many benefits to the town. I regularly walk to the cafe and use it to meet friends and let my children play. It also has meant that I've noticed and then therefore used other businesses on the estate which I would not have known about otherwise.

Joanne Soler (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#242

It’s this kind of small-minded council related rubbish that really grinds my gears... The cafe is a wonderful business and local councillors should be awarding it rather than lambasting it, purely for something so silly as parking. We’ve enjoyed many outings here with friends or as a family. It’s a well-run, happy and safe space for children to play and eat great, healthy food.
It would be a real shame to see it go :(

Alexandra Cotton (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-08)

#243

We love Doodle Caboodle as a family with young children

Fay Mulliner (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#245

This cafe is an invaluable place in Tring for so many local families. It would be a travesty to see it closed.

Beth Roberts (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#246

It’s a much needed facility in the area!

Suzanne Cuthbert (Wingrave , 2019-08-08)

#249

Because this is a much needed family cafe with soft play.

Kerin Felix (Chesham, 2019-08-08)

#250

I’m signing because we love doodle caboodle and don’t want to see it closed.
It’s a lovely welcoming place for young children to go.

Emma Hall (Chesham, 2019-08-08)

#251

I agree that parking is an issue, however it’s an issue for all businesses and should not be restricted to the cafe which is a wonderful facility for parents and children in tring

Amy Stevenson (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#252

I value the service this small business provides the local community

Susanna Charlish (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-08)

#253

This is a fantastic cafe. Definitely needed and loved.

Charlotte Isaac (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#254

A brilliant little family cafe which offers much to the community. We have held a number of family events here.

Kathryn Lloyd (Aston Clinton , 2019-08-08)

#255

I love this cafe. I’ve always parked in the town centre car parks and walked down. It’s a unique and soft cafe for families, that would be missed

Amy Travis (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-08)

#256

This is an important business in the community and it would be a tragedy to lose it

Josie Fletcher (Letchworth , 2019-08-08)

#257

I believe in this business. It helps the local community

Stephanie Spillett (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#258

This is a great community facility.

Assist with parking issues, don’t penalise them

Judy Stower (Watford, 2019-08-08)

#260

My grandchildren enjoy the play cafe

Clare Carrey (Leighton buzzard, 2019-08-08)

#261

I think tring needs a play cafe

Louise Ollive (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#262

I’m singing this because this is a community service and is needed in this town. No problems in the past. Keep community facilities available to all. Allow enterprise to flourish.

Sophie Lancaster (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#263

This is a great facility for local families, it would be a shame to lose it

Linda Mercel (Pitstone, 2019-08-08)

#264

This is such a lovely place to meet other mums with their children and would be a real loss to Tring and the surrounding areas if they were to close. I have always parked considerately when using the cafe.

Double yellows extended along Brook Street are needed. And what about the empty site behind the industrial estate? A perfect sized car park space is standing empty behind the industrial estate, can that be put to use?

Suzy Sangster (Bucks, 2019-08-08)

#265

I’m signing because we can not lose the doodle caboodle cafe! This argument about the parking is completely ridiculous! The vast majority of people who use the cafe walk there. It is the only place in Tring where you can let the children play safely whilst having a catch up with your own friends over a cuppa or a glass of fizz! The sanity of the Mothers in Tring would be at risk if the cafe had to close down!

Ciara Kent (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#266

I love the Doodle Caboodle cafe, this is a great place for parents and kids. I wish there were more cafes like this.

Kirsty Brown (Hemel Hempstead, 2019-08-08)

#267

The cafe is fantastic, a great addition to the area. the parking issues could be from any number of shops on that estate

Heather Hewitt (Leighton buzzard , 2019-08-08)

#269

It’s a great cafe to go to with children

Nicola Archer (Hemel, 2019-08-08)

#270

The problem is the the toddler play zone it is the fact that Brook Street should be car free

Paul Stinson (Cheddington , 2019-08-08)

#271

It's a lovely little cafe and provides my children a safe place to play. Asset to the community

Tiffany Thompson (Aylesbury , 2019-08-08)

#272

We need this cafe in TRING

Susie Mytton (TRING , 2019-08-08)

#273

I love this cafe and visit often, it offers a great facility for me and my child.

Jennifer Hewsom (Kensworth, 2019-08-08)

#274

The one lovely place children have to go with their parents, and these people want to take it away. Disgusting!

Leah Foley (Leighton buzzard, 2019-08-08)

#275

It’s a wonderful cafe which is much needed in the area even though I don’t have small children anymore I know a lot of people that go there

Hollie Bede (Bedfordshire , 2019-08-08)

#276

I’d like to keep the cafe open.

Leanne Coelho (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#277

The cafe needs to stay open as it is an facility for the community

Anne Pugh (Pitstone, 2019-08-08)

#278

Very Much needed within our community

H K (Tring Hertfordshire, 2019-08-08)

#279

This is a great facility for the local community and should be saved

Paul Kent (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#285

It should stay open

Pete Douglas (Goldthorpe, 2019-08-08)

#286

Me and my son love coming to the play cafe for coffee/cake and a play! It is a much loved place in the town.

Beth Rundle (Buckingham , 2019-08-08)

#287

This is a community need that supports not only parents and children socialising rather than stuck in at home but also a hub for people to come together positively and a work place for the local community.

Emma Howard (Falkirk, 2019-08-08)

#288

This is a much needed cafe in our area and there is nothing else for mums with young children for miles!

Wendy Valentine (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#289

I am a frequent user and see it as a much needed facility quite unique, a lovely place for children and parents to enjoy

Natasha Burns (Milton Keynes , 2019-08-08)

Sue Kane (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#293

The cafe is a great place for local parents & children

Selena Gold (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-08)

#294

I want doodle caboodle to remain open.

Keali Foley (Bedfordshire , 2019-08-08)

#295

We should support local family businesses. Tring needs Caboodle cafe, a great place not just for the children but for the carers who need a break and to socialise. It’s a community essential.

Jo Hayes (Weston Turville, 2019-08-08)

#296

We need to support small businesses that are surviving in our ever shrinking highstreets not oust them! We especially need to support ones that are creating jobs and havens such as this in small communities

Lucy Scoot-Williams (Berkhamsted, 2019-08-08)

#297

This little establishment is extremely important for the area as it allows young children to play safely and, families to socialise and have a coffee and snack along with the little ones enjoying refreshments, especially when the weather is bad and outdoor activities can't be enjoyed. The play area allows the little ones to use up some of their energy, which is essential for a healthy child. As far as parking is concerned, lots of the customers come by foot and the ones that drive have a few choices of spaces on a first come first served basis. There are many other businesses in this little estate that also use parking spaces and unfortunately the area doesn't provide sufficient spaces for all. I don't understand why this should be a reason to penalise or close an established well loved business. Change of Use should have been addressed when their Lease was first issued.

Marion Panayi (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#298

This is a lovely place to go for new mums with young children

Nicky Horton (Dunstable, 2019-08-08)

#299

Great business

Kate Turner (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#300

This cafe should not be closed. No evidence that additional cars parking on Brooke street are customers of this establishment. Factors contributing to more cars/traffic on Brooke street are the bus stop and the area where the drop curb is opposite the entrance to the industrial estate and where the double yellow lines start causing 2 sets of parked cars on the same side if the road in close proximity.

Liza Roche (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#302

The cafe is a much needed asset to the local community. To cite an increase in traffic is due to the cafe is sheer madness due to the number of businesses operating from the business estate and number of local residents living along Brook Street they own more than one car per household.

Hanne Grice (Tring, 2019-08-08)

#303

This is a great place to have a catch up and let the little one’s play!

Frances Prescott (Pitstone , 2019-08-08)

#305

I believe this to be a much needed resource in the community.

Candice Mason (Leighton Buzzard , 2019-08-08)

#307

I would like the cafe to stay open. It is a lovely, well needed place.

Nicole Tooze (St Albans, 2019-08-08)

#308

It’s important that these kind of facilities remain open for the local community.

Becks Hadley (Wingrave, 2019-08-08)

#309

Lovely local cafe

Chantelle Lancashire (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#310

This is a local business that provides a great place for parents and children to enjoy. Please don't let another small local business close.

Charlotte Smith (Wingrave, Aylesbury, 2019-08-08)

#311

It’s a lovely place for children and adults to relax together, with the emphasis on children

Liz Bellin (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#312

This is a vital part of our community.

Lindsey Dimes (Wendover, 2019-08-08)

#313

i have a young family and this is a fab much needed cafe!

jaye Eaglesham (Bedfordshire, 2019-08-08)

#314

I would like the cafe to remain

Rachael Stocks Thomas (Tring , 2019-08-08)

#315

Having been to this establishment a few times over the last few years. Mainly as their Father Christmas. I have witnessed a hub off activities. A well attended vital addition to the local community. A place where friendships are made. Support is offered. Advise and knowledge is gained. In a safe and relaxed environment.

Keith Steers (Pitstone , 2019-08-08)

#316

Doodle caboodle is a much needed resource in the community

Cindy Gibson (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-08)

#317

I don’t agree with not allowing this business.

Lisa Ingold (Wing, 2019-08-08)

#318

We love Doodle Caboodle, we would be heartbroken to see the business close when they have worked so hard to make it amazing for the community. My daughter has her 2nd birthday party there and even with lots of guests they all managed to park safely within the parking spots allocated to Doodle. Keep this lovely cafe open!

Sarah Jacques (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-09)

#319

It’s a much needed asset for the younger members of our community.

Jane Youens (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#320

This cafe is such a great part of the community, it would be such a shame if the short sightedness of the council forced a lovely small family business to close. There may be issues with parking on that road but that can be attributed to any one of the businesses on the park, surely there are other ways to deal with problem parking than shut businesses down. Towns such as Tring and Berkhamsted should be applauding small businesses who are surviving in the current climate and doing all they can to support them, not try to close them down. There are enough issues for small businesses at the moment. I am actually shocked that anyone at the council could even consider this as being the right way to go about the issue. Very disappointed.

Laura Bushby (Berkhamsted, 2019-08-09)

#321

I regularly use this lovely cafe with my young children, there is nowhere else like it in Tring for parents. I have never had to park on brook street to access the cafe.

Rosie Coles (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#324

Although Silk Mill is now a very busy area, this business has been on these premises for 2 years. The parking problem cannot be pinned on this one business.
In addition, the café is a short walk from town car parks, which have adequate parking.

Angela Vanderpluym (Aston Clinton, 2019-08-09)

#325

Very needed facility in a quite village of Tring

Justine Brewer (Hemel Hempstead , 2019-08-09)

#326

This place is needed!

Anna Foster (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-09)

#327

I use this cafe regularly and have never once had to park in Brook Street. There is ample parking on site. This cafe is an asset to Tring, serving families in a way that no other place does. It would be a huge shame to see it close.

Hannah Bishop (Weston Turville, 2019-08-09)

#328

I'm signing because i love this cafe!

Jacki Flower (Aston Clinton , 2019-08-09)

#329

I want to help save doodle caboodle play park. It’s an absolute asset to the community for parents with young children

Natalie Bouscarle (Hemel Hempstead , 2019-08-09)

#330

I’ve never parked outside of the grounds when going there. Always inside. Don’t make assumptions that parking issues are linked to the cafe. Probably more the workers from the industrial estate.

Alison Scott (Hemel Hempstead, 2019-08-09)

#332

We love coming to this cafe, it’s a real asset to Tring, great for families and the community.

Lindsay Miller (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#333

The cafe is a wonderful place to take the kids on a rainy day. There is nothing similar in Tring

Alessandra Lee (St Albans, 2019-08-09)

#334

Doodle Caboodle isn’t just a cafe... it’s a much needed safe haven for very young children to play freely. We don’t have any places like this locally. I have been using the cafe since it opened- its been invaluable.

Tuli Amarasena (Pitstone, 2019-08-09)

#337

Dc is great!

Gav Collins (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-09)

#338

This is a valued resource to the community

Emily Thomson (Berkhamsted, 2019-08-09)

#339

I want to keep a family business going

Lyn Large (Bedfordshire , 2019-08-09)

#340

I support the application for this cafe

Jaime Thorpe (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#341

This is a fabulous cafe that provides a safe environment for parents, grandparents, carers etc to take their children.

They constantly give back to the community and without this cafe people will lose their jobs, local charities will lose financial support and and families from all over Herts/beds/ bucks will lose yet another place which was designed to help children with their development and parents socialising which in turn encourages socialisation and play for children so they thrive and for parents is positive for their mental health.

Lucinda B (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-09)

#343

There is nothing else like this locally to take my grandchildren, it celebrates everything I hold dear in a community business that helps give families an affordable place to visit with their children

Kathryn Kitson (Wendover, 2019-08-09)

#344

This place is needed by our community.

Aidan O'Brien (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#345

It’s a vital component of the community and a much needed safe play area for young children. Parking issues nearby should be reviewed separately - if it’s too dangerous to park in certain places, surely there should be double yellow lines placed there to stop people at any time? Local park play facilities are often littered with glass and many crimes, such as assault, have been reported. Doodle Caboodle is a much needed and safe play environment for the young residents of Tring. The council should applaud such enterprises, not close them down.

Steve Douthwaite (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#346

I don’t want this lovely cafe shut down.

Kim Senior (Bovingdon, 2019-08-09)

#348

This cafe provides a service which has been lacking in Tring for years. The owners have worked tirelessly to create a wonderful amenity for the community which is loved by many.

Elizabeth Niedzwiecki (Aston Clinton, 2019-08-09)

#350

It would be a massive shame to loose this little cafe we meet friends here and one of the only places I can have a moments peace with a coffee while my children play. Would hate to see it go

Hayley Wheeldon (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-09)

#351

Tring needs local business providing services for its residents and this is a great little venture that provides a much needed service.

Simon Ellson (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#352

It is a fantastic small business which provide a friendly cafe and play area for mums/ dads/ children to socialise. It would be a shame to lose such a lovely local place we regularly visit.

Ashleigh Faulkner (Aston clinton, 2019-08-09)

#353

This is a wonderful family run cafe, my daughter and I often meet friends there.

Claire Brewer (Aylesbury , 2019-08-09)

#354

i want to

dave king (watford, 2019-08-09)

#355

This is a unique place suitable to go to with small children and meet up with friends. Rare find and gets us out the house.

Louise Bolster (Berkhamsted , 2019-08-09)

#356

The positive impact the cafe has on the Tring community significantly outweighs and unproven impact on on-street parking.

Russell Scott (Pitstone, 2019-08-09)

#357

I am signing because this cafe was a lifeline for me and my mummy friends who were all on maternity leave the past 12 months. With the multitude of issues faced my mothers coping with tiny babies and older children, this was a safe welcoming space that allowed our older children to play, whilst being supervised, and for us to meet and talk to each other during the cold winter months when the parks were not a realistic option. The ladies that worked at doodle made us feel very welcome and were interested in how we were and very caring of our children.

At a time when post partum mental health is understood, and research has shown how important getting out of the house and meeting other people and talking about problems is before they overwhelm mummies, I cannot support this move to close doodle. Indeed it would seem counter to everything a local councils should and could be encouraging for this important demographic within the local community.

My husband has also met daddy friends there with the children to give me (mummy) a break and get some respite himself when looking after 2 children under the age of 3.

May I suggest that the council reconsiders this, or at a minimum, negotiates with the owners to find them an equivalent property at the same or reduced cost with the same excellent central access for people that travel on foot? In addition they would need some funding for the the transfers of the equipment and facilities.

Yours,

Elizabeth Price

Elizabeth Price (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#358

I’m signing this because doodle caboodle is a great facility, I always walk there and tring is in need of a child focused cafe

Natalie Lynn (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#359

I think this is a great asset to Tring.

Sara Barratt (Tring, 2019-08-09)

#360

This cafe is an excellent resource for people with young children in the area and there is nothing else in Tring like it.

Caroline Van Praag (Leighton Buzzard, 2019-08-09)

#361

As a parent of very young children it can be hard to take two of them to a soft play as they are at very different stages but too young to let on go off on their own. Doodle caboodle is a god send as it’s small enough I can sit and have a chat with a friend for few minutes and I can see them and know they are safe.
This place is a life line to many mums who struggle to get out to places like this with their children and actually be able to chat to other adults.
This would be a really lose to the community.
I’ve always parked on site, never had an issue parking here.
These places are rare and a real gem, it would be very sad to see it go.

Samantha Bennett (Aylesbury , 2019-08-09)

#362

Doodle Caboodle is an important part of the Tring community providing a much needed service and jobs in the area.

This cafe is a unique place for those with children to go. There are no other facilities like it in Tring and it would be a great shame for it to close. The cafe is within walking distance of a great many homes in Tring so to penalise those families who walk there because of parking issues would seem hugely unfair.

This is an important place for young families, a fun place to entertain young children for people in Tring without having to get in a car!

We need more places like this

I have two young children who both love Doodle Caboodle. We go there often, there is nothing else like it in Tring. If it closed it would be a huge loss to the community.

There is nowhere else in Tring like DoodleCaboodle and it would be a loss for parents with young children if it was closed. From what I’ve seen, cars are parked on Brooke street all day with very few coming and going so I think it’s more likely to be people who live on Brooke street or those that work in the industrial units that park there as opposed to users of the cafe. The cafe is walkable for many people and certainly from car parks in the town so I don’t see how this cafe is worsening an already horrendous street for parking.

Affordable, safe, engaging environments for parents to bring their children are really important especially in small villages where there is limited options.

I want to support a local business.

Stop picking on small local businesses and children. Sort out the path to this place and more people would walk there

Jo Ginger (Tring, 2019-08-09)

This is a gem of a cafe that is really popular with locals and families who travel to Tring specifically to visit.

This facility is needed! In order to provide a safe birthday party for a child under school age, to my knowledge there is only one other cafe near me like this (Aston Clinton hub) and I would be aghast if it were to close for good. An alternative site with equal or less costs to the business will need to be provided should the current one be deemed not appropriate.

It’s a great place for mums with young children to meet and for small children to play, there isn’t anywhere else in Tring to do this. Really important for first mums mental health and well-being.

The cafe provides a vital hub for new parents and lone parents who need support.
They organise community events to bring people together and positively engage with other local small businesses.
The parking issue along Brook Street is a long running issue caused by a multitude of factors and unlikely from the cafe as the users of the cafe are local people and mainly walk there with prams.

Doodle Caboodle is a fab cafe, I spent most of my maternity leave meeting friends there,it kept me going on the tough days!

I don’t think a successful business that’s a benefit to the community should suddenly be at risk of closure through no fault of their own

The cafe is an important local facility for people with small children. I park in the car park in town and walk over. As do the other parents I know.

The cafe has been open for 2 years already. It’s popular and has already overcome the issues with parking. You cannot blame the over crowded parking on one single business in silk mill, there are now many more businesses than before so parking will be an issues. Maybe you could make the east ground at the back of the silk mill into a car park?

Ian Maxfield (Tring, 2019-08-09)

Doodle Caboodle provides a much need service within Tring for the parents of small children. With the cafe having been set up prior to the regeneration of the business park and (no doubt) being key to bring new people to the site which ultimately helps the other businesses seems unjust.

Alasdair Roberts (Tring, 2019-08-09)

I believe that this business is a brilliant enterprise and that parking issues cannot be attributed to it so therefore it would be grossly unfair to close it down.

I love the doodle caboodle cafe and my daughter would be very sad to see it go. We are already losing the Ivinghoe children’s centre.
