I'm signing this because I am a person who loves this country and is doing their best to be part of and help continue build a great nation by being a hard worker in a place where none of the asylum seeker institutions have been of any assistace. My bank even offers no finacial loans to my visa type- bridging A subclass 010 I am not eligible for any credit. I am not looking for hand outs just relief to help my young growing family. As a temporary visa holder as much as I have been granted full working rights and educational rights I have been taking knocks for seeking asylum. As a potential employee many turned me away because they weren't sure about my visa, others said I didn't look Australian enough as a student which I am very keen on attaining Australian qualifications am charged full international student fees. This is difficult as I am trying to raise 4 healthy stable children whilst making sure I never default on any of my other financial commitments. We work very hard and are proud of that, please give us a chance to be more involved in making Australia the world's safest place to live in and the best economy in the world. thank you.

The right thing to do is to allow temporary residents who pay tax to be able to access their superannuation like everybody else.

These overseas working holiday people were working and contributing to the Australian economy. These people would be still working had it not been for the mandatory shutdowns due to COVID-19.

I am a student visa holder and have no financial assistance from the Australian government but have tuition, rent and student loan interest to pay. It is becoming unmanageable to do so, given that my parents and myself are either unemployed or have no income due to the pandemic.

I am signing because I need to start believing in humanity again

As a two times whv holder and student visa now holder, I was working hard to get where I am now, I respected Australia in every way possible, however be unemployed is very tough right now, from grocery to the rent savings are going down day to day. I guess that should be fair the we are not left on the side right now in this big crisis. At the end of the day are manly We overseas students or whv holders that are working in hospitality, in farms, car cleaning, general cleaning, also paid taxes (in my case 3 years, not a lot, but still something) etc. We are not asking a lot, we are just asking help from the government.

Riccardo Longo (Sydney , 2020-03-30)

im signing because this time seriously hard to everyone. Although we do not have the right to ask for support from this country, we live in a country where we have the right to express our views. We hope that for the future of our country, students and young people who have the right to permanent or temporary residence will be able to support everyone and extend a helping hand from the goverment.

I’m signing because so many of these visa holders have no support network in Australia, and require our help. They will be major contributors when we bounce back from this crisis.

Michael Gibbons (Newtown, 2020-03-30)

Student visa and TR are distrubiting alot for Australia economy. Now is the time for Australia government do something back for us during affect of virus.

I am signing because I am currently in a difficult position where I lost my job abruptly due to this crisis. My Australian co workers all immediately got financial help, whereas us temporary visa holders are left stranded in a very uncomfortable position. We work and pay taxes in your communities. I expect at least some sort of help or clarification in such a trying and difficult time. We’re all human, let’s support and bring each other up and not discriminate.

Linda Formanek (Brisbane, 2020-03-30)

I am signing because all people are equals and they equally deserve help during times like this.

They have the right to access their full earned superannuation, right now, instead of getting it super texted once they will leave the country.

Due to covid 19 my work closed and will not receive any pay. My family are on 482 visas, have been in Australia working with intent to get permanent residency in time. Cannot get centrelink, hardly anything in superannuation due to only being in Australia for little over 1 year, cannot access job keepers due to 482 visa. We will soon run out of personal savings and be left with no income at all.
