I am an owner of a small rustc camping site with bushveld between stands. The loss of income for all in our camping industry has been huge and needs to be addressed. Campers bring there own camping gere even using their own kitchen. Taxis can have 7 people in it..... Camping gives fresh air with loads off space between campers. There is no reason why camping sites cant open if all COVID19 regulations will be in place.

Alicia Van der Spuy (Brits, 2020-06-27)

#202

Surely it can open, if all precautions are taken. These people need an income and this is also their livelihood.
Please please

Signing to support camp sites, to support all owners and many employees and their dependants at camp sites. A positive vibe, fresh air and sun and space will help with immunity. Ideally much better suited to avoid spreading covid19 than restaurants or casinos or normal shops ever can. Low risk. Use booking as travel permit.

Dirk Postma (Pretoria, 2020-06-27)

#238

Sonja Botha (Ekurhuleni, 2020-06-27)

I am a leisure camper and don't understand how leisure camping is not allowed but cinemas and other leisure activities can open. Camping stands are more than the preferred social distancing apart and conform to covid-19 regulations.

Jean Jansen v Rensburg (Brackenfell, 2020-06-27)

#267

Camping is a source of income for many camp site owners and provide work to many employees, it is one of the safer modes of socializing.

Lourette Cronje (Pretoria, 2020-06-27)

#268

I'm a camper and have obeyed the regulations. Leisure camping is automatically open to abide by the regulations, shared bathrooms can be sanitized like restaurants etc. Provincial borders also need to be opened to travel to resorts of choice, with permit if necessary.

Ria Warwick (Durban, 2020-06-27)

There couldn't be a safer, healthier way to have leisure and be safe from spreading or catching Covid than camping. I have 5 secluded sites in my campsite in the Soutpansberg. Each site has a toilet and shower allocated for that site's use only. People need to get out and relax after this LONG period of restrictions. Casino's should have been the LAST tourism elements to open!!

Gail Maytham (Louis Trichardt, 2020-06-27)

#276

Because I think with the necessary rules we can safely go camping even across borders

Neville Clifton (Richards Bay, 2020-06-27)

#286

Our Rustic Resort caters for camping only where the stands have bushveld between each other. People camp here with their own camping gear, bedding, kitchen facilities etc. We already have everything in place to stop spreaading the COVID19 according to tourism regulations. We urge the Government to reopen our industry for leasure camping asap.

Eldone van der Spuy (Brits, 2020-06-27)

#308

Camping with your own goods can not bring harm to the next camper. The government should take time to visit camping sites to see that it is saver than in the city where the virus are more harmful.

Marina Marx (Brits, 2020-06-27)

#309

Our economy can't take this anymore.
People get sick and die of wotse things, now and even before!

Melicia de Meyer (Randfontein , 2020-06-27)

#332

Annastashia Joubert (Kempton Park, 2020-06-27)
