I am signing this petition because CLT's deserve fair treatment and justice. All of us are strengthened when we fight for equity for any segment of our bargaining unit.

CLTs are the backbone of CUNY. They are among the hardest working and committed members fo the university. They are not given the level of respect or appreciation they deserve.

Sharif Elhakem (Bronx, 2020-10-11)

I am signing because I see a need for equity and equality in the CLT chapter of PSC.

Syed Abdali (NYC, 2020-10-13)

The CLT’s requests are fair and as PSC members they should feel fully represented and supported.

Rankism and discrimination is unacceptable in our workplaces or our union spaces. It is absolutely appalling that CLTs are *still* facing these issues and they should be changed immediately.

CLT’s, that keep our science courses laboratory component running smoothly, are integral to educating students in the sciences and in other technical disciplines.
We deserve pay and respect commensurate with out service, responsibilities and skills.

I'm signing because I want our needs prioritized. For along time we the CLT's have been a committed hard working non-instructional personnel at CUNY and have not been treated fairly. We as a whole should have equality as professionals that provide a service to CUNY. A path that leads to Promotion, salaries that are equal to those in similar professions and better working conditions. During this pandemic that has been so stressful on many lives we are still committed in doing our jobs, Taking public transportation coming in on campus and performing our duties as others work remotely. We must strive for unity and parity. Together we are strong. Lets make a difference....

Milagros Baez (Bronx, 2020-11-18)

#272

I completely agree.

Paul Morse (Brooklyn, 2020-11-18)

#273

CLTs are crucial in my department and they deserve to be treated and compensated fairly and equally.

Christopher Stein (New York, 2020-11-18)

#274

CUNY cannot function without the CLTs theoretical and practical knowledge...
Therefore, let us be your partner instead of your subordinate...
In that condition, we will ALL flourish...
And CUNY will thrive instead of die...

Michael Danza (Brooklyn, 2020-11-18)

I'm signing because denying CLTs full voting rights and access to departmental committees is an egregious affront to democratic principles.
