I don’t agree to having a course at a community collage giving kids and others ample opportunities to do tattoos in their own homes and messing it all up. Tattooing takes years of practice and training that no two semester course could cover.

Support already existing local businesses!!

This is just not acceptable.

This is not how tattooing abs the industry works! Its take dedication and YEARS for an apprenticeship to tattoo. Not everyone can nor deserves to be a tattoo artist, the answer is NO and they will be turned down thrown intonation work force of shops with just a college debt.

I believe in the above mentioned statement. I also believe that such an art isn't learned in the classroom.

Profiting off of something sacred is absolutely evil.

I value tattoo artists.

Irresponsible for a community college to think they can certify someone in tattoos in two years, there’s a lot more to tattooing than what people in this course will come into contact with, apprenticeships have always worked in the tattooing art

FMCC are a bunch of *******s

I believe and support the statements made in the original posting. Tattooing is meant to be a 1 on 1 intimate mentor-apprenticeship relationship. It’s not a classroom exercise, that’s what art school is for. Ridiculous to even try to implement as its clear ignorance to the actual tattooing industry.

Cameron Wagar (Rotterdam, 2021-08-15)

I agree.

This shouldn't happen

No more scab shacks please, this is just a slap to the face to everyone who’s been in this business & trained under a mentor in a traditional sense. Real artists do it strictly for the art purposes & because we love what we create. Money is just a plus. SOOOO NOOOO.

I respect the traditional learning process for trades, such as tattooing.
