Miao Miao has been doing good work teaching young children their mother tongue and ensuring young children are able to connect with their Chinese heritage and with their Chinese speaking grandparents. It is unsustainable to keep hiring spaces from schools to teach so many children on the weekends and during school holidays. Allowing the school the status to receive donations so that they can plan to build their own physical school and classrooms would help them plan further for the future. This will also help them become a more lasting support to the community to ensure that young children remain connected with their heritage.

Miaomiao Chinese school gives so much to the communities. It takes minimum fees from students, which won’t even cover its costs. Many volunteers works relentlessly all year around to keep the school running. If the school can receive donations, it would definitely help tremendously.

The Chinese schools are essential and these schools and the critical for the children who are interested in Chinese language and culture. These kids will grow up and become tax payers in Australia. However, they will also become an important bridge between Australia and China and contribute to the maintenance of a good relationship between these two great countries. Obviously, this relationship will become more and more important for the prosperity of Australia in the future.

The teachers in Chinese schools are basically doing a volunteer job. The income they gain is nothing considering the time and efforts they offered to keep these schools going. Having donations is the only solution to the sustainable growth of these non-profit schools, as higher tuition fees will affect the affordability of many families.
